So I can say that per day for food it will cost approx ₹800-1000 for Indian food, stay is about ₹1200-2300 depending on where you stay, transport is about ₹500 and if you want to do activities GADT travels charges about ₹18000-25000 depending on what you want to do for 5-6 places across Vietnam (north and south both) with airport pick up and drop in private car.

You can keep and advance date as well no issues. But I’ll suggest you to keep it as close as it is to trip date. No need to buy tickets in advance just make sure you have dates that are fixed.

Hello sir. The itinerary I’ve put on the video is a more or less a weeks itinerary. However you can choose doing north and central Vietnam as that’s what most tourists do (sapa, Hanoi, da nang and hoi an) since you don’t want to do a group trip I can suggest you to talk to GADT travels as they will offer all pick up, drops and stay arrangements with personal tour at a very good cost I went thru them and it was a good experience. If you still want to plan all the trip by yourself then I have put individual vlogs for all destinations that will help you as well to plan.

Hi! Thanks for the lovely comment! Since it’s the start of the tourist season tickets will be slightly expensive. Mostly I keep at least 2-3 months gap till before my trip starts for booking flights. You can use any Indian site like make my trip, yatra, ease my trip or even skyscanner. As for connection flight. Id advice not to go for it as it’s a waste of time. But if you do then go for a halt at Malaysia or Thailand as they are visa free presently so you won’t have to pay for visa even if it’s required to by any off chance.

They both have pros and cons. When you self plan you have more time to do things at you own pace but the cost and efficiency may not be there. In package tours you can be stress free about everything but there are some trade off. For my Vietnam trip I did a hybrid of both where I used GADT travels for booking my day trips and they picked me and dropped me from airports as well. I booked my own hotels so I guess that’s also a good options to save money and do things at your own speed.

Technically it’s not allowed. But if you want to fly then make sure it’s not in heavily populated or places near monuments. They are very strict about licensing there but only in cities. The minute you step out of the city it’s very chill I had no issues at all.

Except for Hanoi city, you can fly drones. Hanoi city is a no fly zone for drones as it is military secured place.

September may be rainy I feel at certain parts. When I had gone on December it was cloudy and slightly rainy in central and north Vietnam it’s a big county in terms of length so the weather varies so pls check the right weather chart online before the planning the trip as that can make or break the plan!

Where are you trying to book from? City matters a lot. Try websites like skyscanner yatra or MakeMyTrip plus keep in mind this is peak season so fare will be higher as Vietnam has become very popular of late with India’s

In my last trip due to Chinese new year rush in feb I had to book a Malaysia to Thailand flight for ₹10k! Usually the flight is ₹4-6k imagine that.

Hi , I booked a single PNR flight from Delhi to Phu quoc with vietjet air line , but it's a connecting flight first it will go Hanoi than phu quoc, and return also same it will from phq quoc to Hanoi than Hanoi to delhi, For Indian passport holder required visa for Phu quoc or not , please confirm

Hi. This is tricky. Because when I was at the airport some people who had gone in a similar flight to phu quoc were complaining that visa on arrival was not being granted easily and had to call agents up. So I’ll suggest you get an e visa just to be safe as vietjet is not a good airline in terms of customer service you may get stuck or denied boarding however it’s best you call Vietjet and confirm this. As they will be the best source to get right info considering you’re flying thru them.

If you download from India and pair your card for payments then you will need otp from Indian number before leaving. But if you plan to use cash to pay then no need to pair anything. Just buy a local Vietnam sim and it will send otp to app and you can book taxi as per your convenience but you will have to pay cash.
