I absolutely love all Harleys but really can appreciate how much work they finally put into all of the development of the new machine. Everything new takes getting use to. I would take one in a heartbeat. I think it's amazing.

Tall, I'm a Marine stationed in Jacksonville, NC. I ride a 2018 CVO SG gunship grey with a custom built 131. I prefer the rushmore fairing on the SG more than the new one, but i like the new RG fairing better than the rushmore. Time will tell on the vvt motors and all the new electronics in the 24s. I will not even consider one for several years, which works because there is no way i would ever pay new prices lol. Take care and i appreciate you!

I agree with the conclusion in this video, well done Tall. I went from a 2013 to a 2020 and now have the 2024 with 1500 miles on it. You're right, this is the future and a gigantic leap ahead in too many ways to quickly list. No one will be unhappy with a 2015-23, but 24 and up has changed the game.

Watching from Colorado! Just picked up a 23 RGS after my 16 SG CVO trashed its motor for the second time in 4k miles. Wasn’t planning on getting a new bike, but man have I fallen in love! The RG is a monster in the Twistys has surprised me on so many different levels!

Great job on this video, I agree with all of your comments about both bikes. The 23 is a beautiful machine, time tested and true. The 24 is even more, and represents the future. As someone who rides a 2014 with the 103, I would take either of them!

Since you asked our opinions, I have a 23 RG my first bagger and will be keeping it for a few years as I don’t really need the extra power and trust the 107. I also have a 22 fat bob 114 that I commute on and ride solo to decompress from everyday stress. thanks

The 107 really wakes up with the correct cam, intake & exhaust.. There really isn't a need for any more TBH.. I couldn't believe the difference with the cam exhaust and air cleaner & tune.. It went from 81 whp stock to 109whp & 118tq.. Huge difference.. You should talk to your tuner about the right exhaust and cam setup for your style of riding but the 107 is a great motor.. His 2024 117in motor isn't making but a few ponies more..

I’ve got a 2023 road glide special. First thing I did was change out the bars in the grips course went to a stubby antenna. Did the windshield. The thing like the best that I did is the jumper and the CarPlay2 air it makes Apple CarPlay a wonderful thing.

Watching from Maine. Bought a 2024 Road Glide Shark skin blue blacked out. Couldn't be happier with the decision, waiting for that after market to catch up. Many personal touches coming next year. Personal opinion it needs a faring between the nose and radiator, the front looks empty to me in that area. I definitely agree with the bag latch why is it not black! It needs minor touches Harley did a great job on this bike stock.

My LePera daddy long legs Tail Whip seat is the best money ever spent on my glide.. Taller bars being 2nd.. With the taller bars & set back seat, the bike feels and rides sooo much better.. It tucks you down behind the fairing better, gets you way back off the tank, and even though its not a cushy pillow style, I never get that sore tailbone anymore, ever.. LePera is a great seat maker.. the Tail whip is just like the kickflip but its a bit better for a passenger, as it doesn't slope so heavily on the back, to help the wifey not feel like she sliding off..

Great job! With respect to the seat from a 23 onto a 24, there is a KZbin video on how to fix this by widening the slot in the seat to fit the tab on the new bikes which is wider by about 1/2 inch or so. The frame on the new bike’s are the same so no problem with mounting screw. Yeaaa saved some $$$

Hey Tall, you do these side by sides very well. Super enjoyable. I just bought the 24 and looking at your 23 is inspiring. How does increasing the diameter of the front wheel change the handling? As for your other thoughts, 24’s clean look - yes, Harley obviously focused on it and its a win, short bags - yes and win even though they are bigger they look sleek, chopped front fender - love it, small front wheel - not so much, liquid cooling - yes!, new screen - nailed it, ride modes and riding nannies - yes harley needed to catch up. My advice, don’t ride the 24 RG if you can’t buy one. 😮

nice bikes...Like you I thought the 24 was too short for my 6ft2inch frame......So I traded my 18 RG for the 23 RG an moved my personal item to the 23 as everything changed over...Now I know you a good size fellow so you need to get extended brake pedal,extended Floor board spacers...I use a solo seat my wife rides her own...I use an extended heal shifter don't like any toe marks on my boots....Thanks for all you great Vids....

Excellent video Sir! I'm tall as well and from I'm from Indiana. I came from a 2018 Road Glide Special and went to a 2024 Road Glide just like yours. The 2018 doesn't compare to the 2024. I still love the looks of the Rushmore Harley's but man these new models have really grown on me. I personally do miss the stretched saddle bag look myself. But that 117 with Thunderheader slip ons in custom ride mode sounds so good.

To help save your Jordans from getting scuffed up Harley makes a floor board spacer kit that moves your feet out from the engine. I found it also adds a little bit more comfort having my feet further away from the heat.

I just picked up a 24 road glide man these things rip, not really crazy about the throttle by wire though it's very unforgiving given the very light throttle resistance, but I love it to death and never knew what I was missing having been a softail guy for so many years , still love my Deuce and my Rocker C though

i have a 2021 Road Glide Limited, it's a 114, Touring pack std with floorboards for the passenger, it has stock all the safety devices like ABS, C-ABS, ELB, C-ELB, VHC, TPMS, C-TCS, C-DSCS. And it was 4000€cheaper than the 2024 Limited, and it was head cooled with the 2 radiators in the lowers. I am baffled about the great difference HD has while selling the Europe bikes and State site bikes ? And ... I LOVE the double headlight on my fairing. The real Sharknose. ;) This is a keeper for me. The new 2024 RoadGlide has to grow on me a lot before i switch. 2 things i didn't like : 200 km and the head gasket was blown, matellurgic fabrication issue, HD repared under guarantee, and 32000 km frontwheel bearing wornout, Repared under guarantee. Except those two issues (which only cost me some loss of time), wonderfull bike. I just love it.

Tall the CVO ST comes with a shorter windshield with a lip that forces the air up and over, the stock road glide windshield is nice looking it just a little bit larger and doesn't have a lip on it. just to let you know...

As a new rider, i want the big bikes like this and street glide, but i think if i start out on a smaller bike like the new Scout 101 or sport scout, i think it would be easier for me to get than hang of riding. Tall I have yet to see a bad review of the 24s. I ride a road glide limited, and that model is unchanged for 24. Makes it easy for me not to upgrade. Maybe next year they will upgrade the limited.
