Thanks for explaining the testing process! Curious - When you had to wait for your results and quarantine did they let you stay in the hotel you chose and booked or were you sent to a government hotel to do so?

Hi Lauren, So you do have to land with a negative test result from your home country but they still took another test upon arrival for us. They won't hold you in a govt hotel but will take the details of where you will be staying & phone info incase for some reason you have a positive test result.

240,000/= just to test? Uganda is just unbelievable. How will it progress when citizens are paying almost their monthly wages on expenses and other things. I grew up in Uganda and I’m sure something that keeps it poor is the way the government keeps things expensive. The middle class can’t afford that testing. It really needs to change. In USA we test for free. The Ugandan economy will always be down due to selfishness of the government. Anyways I love the video. Thanks for sharing your travel experience with us.
