Nitol needs to improve their service, for a bus that travels such a long distance they need to have a jack and a backup one as well as a few spare tyres. Hope for the journey back you’ll be able to catch one of the new Tamuka coaches or better yet fly if the finances allow. Also pack a flask with warm water for the baby!
