😅 you funny , i traveled as a teen from 17 to 26 i got stranded in a country for a few years , but to be honest the best thing us the familiar the same birds in the garden and sometimes the new the trees that have been there all my life , and i can actually learn things like music and really learn a few languages,i can paint and take my time ,and you get to know community ,most things i did when traveling i have forgotten but there is something about the familiar.

@@thiswasnotwellplanned hi👋 thanks for the question , your loo (toilet story made me laugh 🤣),,, someone stole my passport on the day I was going to change my ticket to fly home , I had a bag stolen after that,,I lived kind of homeless for a bit a Palestinian man had a house for travelers to stay for free or to donate, I just did some work there ,cleaned, cooked ect, he brought me a ticket home after learning about my situation and one particular settler there that was a bit out to get me he called the police in him once , I payed him back when I arrived ,I had to ask family to help and payed them back later .Sounds like you have been having fun 😊I'll sub to hear more of your story...I'm in south Africa .

👋 I’m glad - funny in retrospect 😉 oh wow, that sounds horrific! Bet it’s one of those things that’s so awful at the time but you almost brush off now like it was no big deal?! I travelled internationally a lot from the age of 2 to 35. I'm 54 now. Travelling is tiring. I'm too old to do it now. I've been to Canary Islands, England, Belgium, Dubai, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, USA and Australia. I backpacked around Australia, where I live. I'm originally from the Canary Islands. I travelled back there from 1990 to 1994 aged 20-24 on my own and worked. Prior to that I was there from 1988-1989 to finish high school. Prior to that I was there for 3 months in 1982 for a summer holiday.
