Travelling Through Lochgilphead

A quick video of a trip through Lochgilphead to Cairnbaan.

One of the few places I have seen them paint coal white is at the Crinan Hotel end of the canal. It was fuel for the 'Vital Spark' VIC I assume it was to deter theft but it could have been a clay to clean the interior of furnace exhaust pipework..

Used to do that run regularly in the late 80s and 90s to the Crinan Canal office.
