My favourite thing when Tom vlogs is when he looks to you to answer a question or checks it’s ok to say something as if he is live on TV, rather than on a video you could edit out anyway … it’s so sweet and he’s doing great with the vlogging! Can’t wait for the next vlog ❤ really also appreciating how hard you’re both working to get these vlogs up so quickly whilst you’re on your travels! X

Carnarvon was named after the Earl of Carnarvon, the Secretary of State for the Colonies back in Britain when the town was established. Most major cities and towns in WA are named after people and places from the UK, but there are some smaller places like Yallingup, Pinjarra or Yanchep that are derived from local aboriginal names for the place. You tend to get the best sunsets in WA, as it happens over the ocean. If there is a little bit of whispy cloud around, you can get all sorts of colours in the sky as the light hits further and further away from the sun. WA gets hot down south and has the most sunlight annually for any major city in the country around Perth. Unfortunately you just missed it due to winter, but you still probably would have noticed that it is a bit milder than Melbourne. It is possible to see snow 80km from Melbourne around this time of year.
