Unfortunately I feel as though it’s gone down hill so much over the last several years. It’s just not what it used to be. That being said, I think if you’re staying at MGM and have the MyVEGAS reward- it’s worth it.

Ok everyone…My Vegas trip was completed by seeing none other than Travel Ruby and Mr. Ruby down on Fremont street on Thursday night. Yes, my wife and I went up to her and told her how much we love her show and enjoy her advice. She was super nice. When I first saw her, I said to my wife, OMG, that is Travel Ruby…My wife said, it cannot be…No, no it is her!!! I must admit, I felt weird at being so excited seeing her on Fremont after watching so many of her videos. We love the video content, length, and honest reviews and meeting you made the end of our trip great…John and Erika from Ohio.

Not too impressed with this buffet. I saw spilled over food left on the counter. Looks like they don’t really clean too well. The food looks really generic. Basic. Below basic. Hmmm…….. I guess you get what you pay for. Especially now in Vegas with their high prices.

I agree. $28 for a buffet is nothing these days in Vegas. BTW, Five Guys has to be the most overrated burger joint in America. Go to In-N-Out or the Shake Shack!

I had this buffet a couple of years ago and it wasn't great. To me it was on the level of a Golden Corral buffet at a Vegas price. I'm going to Vegas in a couple of weeks and I can get a BOGO thru My Vegas, so I'm thinking of going again. Price will be right and it's filling. Nothing fancy, but it's not $100 per like the top buffets.

I know for many tourists who are new to Vegas, the reviews of buffets and eateries at the casinos will always be welcome. But for those who are ready and willing to venture off strip via Uber or rental, I think reviews of great off-strip places will really do well too! Prices are more reasonable with less waits (sometimes, I've seen lines out the door for ayce sushi places).

I hear that, but most people who come to Vegas it seems don't venture off the strip unless it's to the dam or one of the local parks. Having friends who live in vegas I totally agree, some of the best food spots are not on the strip...

I ate at this buffet multiple times last year and it wasn't that good😕😕😕 perhaps it's improved some what since then but who knows😒😒😒 anyway the Excalibur and Luxor buffets are of the same caliber I tried both of those as well and it wasn't anything to write home about either it's sad really twenty plus years ago MGM was top of line when it came to the buffet but now no way😒😒😒 thanks for the video ruby we'll catch you on the next one.😋😋😋

Seems to all be Fatty foods and spicy food . Portions are way too big for me. I would like to see healthier food like fruit and porridge or the equivalent of the Australian Weet-Bix that has no sugar. Sodas are 9 tea spoons of sugar each glass. $10.00 USD equals $15,70 AUD atm . Where are the salads and /.or veges ? Oh wait up, the brussel sprouts look good and the shushi rice should be brown not white. Brown pasta is good. I never eat sweets. Overall a Diabetes nightmare . nuts are healthy . I like olives too. Thanks for sharing

Moat buffets with an omelet station will make you scrambeled eggs to order which is always the better choice over the buffet scrambeled eggs. also i noticed the meats they give you smaller portions when you ask for them when the carbs- pancakes/biscuits/waffles are more accessible. this is intentional to get guests filled up on the carbs which is cheaper than the meats. hence when i buffett i usually skip the breads and go back to the carving station to get my moneys worth. btw i looove your videos!

The food didn't look that great. My favorite buffet ever was in Pompano Beach FL at the casino there. They had a sushi chef making the sushi right in front of you, and they had Peking Duck, as well as other more high-end items. Unfortunately, it looks like Harrah's took them over and got rid of the Buffet.

Yes that was the old Isle casino my friend. I really miss their buffet as well used to be called "Farmers Pick". The sides they had were incredible and the prime rib on the carving station was still to this day the best I've had at a buffet. They had a great Chinese food selection as well. Yeah harrahs got rid of it which was a shame.

The corned beef hash, waffles, three types of sausages, omelets, and good coffee would definitely make it worth 20 dollars. In my opinion, good quality corned beef hash can be a little expensive in diners.

I just don’t understand the appeal of buffets like this. Unless you pay for the good ones and can load up on good crab and shrimp then it’s just basic cheap food sat out under heat lamps getting gross. Surely it’s better to just go to a Mexican place for tacos or go for a decent pizza, or if you want meat then go get a steak dinner? It always just looks like huge trays of really sad food.

Ruby, I just came back from my first time to Vegas with my husband! I was so excited to go the places you’ve mentioned in many of your videos. The only thing I disagree with was that I quite enjoyed the pool at planet Hollywood lol But everything you talked about was such a blast to me and I just want to say thank you! And you would laugh at me trying to find blondies in miracle mile shops. We went in a giant circle we were so lost haha. The Cesar’s pool WAS cold 😂 I can’t wait to go back but I am truly thankful for the knowledge bc I felt at home and not a tourist when I arrived. I think I stunned my husband with all the knowledge. I was in Vegas this week and I did visit the MGM Buffet. It was inexpensive compared to others and I did use some comps to cover part of the meal. I would come back to eat because it served it's purpose and I also enjoyed the omelet, cornbeef hash, ice cream and donut😂😊

Barf. DO NOT EAT! I REPEAT, DO NOT EAT! How is this buffet $33? It would have been $66 without the MyVegas app promo. Let's see, I had carved turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes. Everything else was absolutely disgusting. I would say it was a step up from a continental breakfast, but it wasn't. I heard several people complaining about it, if that tells you anything. No salad bar, but TWO omelet stations!!! Stay away!

The good food is very an expensive!!! But realized another thing!!!you going to be in shock… you are not going to see any jackpots in the all casinos… in Las Vegas, not any!!! At all!!! I was staying in 3 hotels for 5 days never seen any jackpots!!! I spent 12000$ high limits, regular floor, I was play maximum bets only… nooooothig!!!! Do not play in Las Vegas!!! I have very big experience in gambling, I know what I am saying! I have 12 jackpots in Atlantic City in 4 months, one of them Grand. Guys don’t play in Las Vegas!!! I went to MGM for their buffet and it was disgusting. £30 each for inedible food. We went back to Sam's Town for $10 each, so much better!!!
