Kirkcudbright is a lovely coastal town. I have been there several times. It is mainly a port for fishing boats. There was a tragedy some years ago. A Kircudbright based scallop dredger ,the Solway Harvester sank at sea with the loss of all on board. The owner was prosecuted for faults with the boat, which wasn’t totally seaworthy. The last time I was there was under sad circumstances. My Mum was in the hospital there and my last visit to the town was on the day she sadly passed away a few years ago. Loved your walk around though, it brought back happy memories of when I visited Kirkcudbright with my late Mum and Dad. They lived in Kirkcudbrightshire back in the day. It is still a thriving town.Dan’s usual dash of humour adds to the entertainment value of your videos.

Nice walk round of Kirkcudbright and the weather is being good 😃My parents are on the campsite over the estuary. The one you chose is very handy for the shops 😃👍 I need to get my dad to bring me some Scotch pies back 😁

Great vlogs. Kirkcudbright lovely place and good campsite. Another place to visit if you have time is Logan Botanical Gardens you won’t be disappointed, New England campsite is close by. Gardens are within cycling distance of the campsite.
