Yorkies filled with warm apple sauce and spray cream onto from my childhood memory was amazing. i think the recipe is egg flour & water to make the batter. the Key is to have a hot over and pre heat the oil in the base tray. once you put batter in then put in hot oven and do not open until risen. if you open oven they wont rise.

My grandma used to sometimes make plate size Yorkshire's. She'd serve the roast dinner inside the pudding.

We did an experiment at high school called a Titration. I remember you had to use a stand, Clamp, Buret, Pipette, Litmus paper etc. It was used to neutralise acids and alkaline. I learned that Alkaline can burn you as well as acids. This helped me when i started getting the right acid/alkaline balance in my aquarium and suitable fish.

Great vlog guys By the way my aunt was a cook for a local country squire in the 1930/40’s Their Sunday lunch always started with a starter of Yorkshire pudding & gravy and dessert with Yorkshire pudding with jam or golden syrup. They were wonderful. She continued this tradition after she married and raised her family. She was a wonderful cook & baker, I loved staying with her and would always come home with a basket of cakes and biscuits However is was my dad who taught me how to make a brilliant Yorkshire pudding, which always rose really well

Re Yorkshire Puddings -- My grandma ( dads mum ) was from Yorkshire & she would serve leftover yorkshires with golden syrup -- & she would serve Yorkshire Puddings & Gravy first as they were cheap to make & therefore you did'nt have as much meat etc on your dinner plate as the main course . Get some nano tape Dan, double sided translucent silicone tape, you can get different rated weight variations. It's brilliant. Easy to peel back off, leaving no marks or damage . Yorkshire puds I start with 3 eggs in a glass the in another 2 glasses add equal levels of flour and milk. 😊
