Brad gets it, doesn't waste time bickering about the tech, he simply builds a rest api and then has proof of concept to validate his opinion. Great stuff!

I find the slides very useful Brad, don't be discouraged by the haters. I found the slides are a great introduction to the tech, why it's being developed, its history and context, advantages, etc. This type of info can't really be shown by programming alone, so it definitely shows/explains why we're here and learning the tech in the first place. If anything, use KZbin's feature of partitioning your video into the different sections, so that people who want to hop straight into coding can do so!

One of things that I like about Deno is that it simplifies the build process and testing. If you are just doing front end code with TypeScript or JS with ES Modules then you are set to go. Where in Nodejs ES Modules are first class yet so it is a huge pain in the butt.

I hate it when something new comes along and then you get people asking or even stating something prior is suddenly dead.... This has been used for things like jQuery, PHP to name just a few things... These things will still be here in years to come, Same for node.js ... Its like saying just because Ferrari make sports cars, every other brand is dead... Well kinda .. thanks Brad , your attitude is a refreshing change... 🤘😎
