This comment changed life for me. I know it sounds simple but just watching this instead of trying to "code along" or "take good notes" for a change.

This was my first time designing with Tailwind CSS. Although, I am still little confused about how to align the right side of the header section for smaller screens, I'm happy with the result and the introduction through this tutorial. It was easy to follow along with. Thanks for creating this project tutorial!

This is going back to old days, using inline styles. If you have a load of the same components on your site and you want to make a change, you have to change everyone individually.
@pumpkinhead66464 жыл бұрын
Depends on what you're using on the frontend. With React for example, you'll just style that component and reuse it. Easy style change. This is where Tailwind really shines. Tailwind just makes creating a quick design super fast. Ever since I've adapted it, it's cut back on so much time.

Thanks for this awesome tutorial! Tailwind indeed looks handy in small/simple projects BUT: 1. From what I can tell we'll still need to add some custom CSS on some elements or the HTML markup can become easily "overcrowded" like the link from your example at 19:21 2. Imagine having 50+ elements requiring more complex CSS code, what then? Repeat over and over again the same 20+ classes on all similar elements? Why this way when we can easily apply all that code into a single class..
@sebastiangudino93772 жыл бұрын
Because that way the code is modular. If you really need to reuse code. You probably should look into using a front end framework that allows you to create components. Tailwind works wonderfully with those. Vue + Tailwind was my favorite workflow for a good while
