I can personalize with Travis's story. How it feels growing up without a father and all that wanting... it can wreck most people that grow up hard. Wow, Neil, how come I missed your channel until now? I'm a big fan mate and I think you've seen me comment a few times elsewhere. Really pleased with this episode. Travis is an amazing guy that has done a lot for the sport of arm wrestling but divides opinion. I think he's great and many people new to the sport have no idea how great he is. Neil there are two armwrestlers i think would make a great interview and fill in the unknown gaps in the history of the sport. The first is Scott Norton, the other winner besides John Brzenk of the Over the top tournament and the only man that went undefeated against John Brzenk. The second puller is Ed Arnold, the second place winner behind John Brzenk at the over the top tournament [who rumour has it only received a vcr machine for placing second at over the top tournmament] while John got the truck. These two pullers are some of the greatest arm wrestlers of all time, and i believe could give todays arm wrestlers some great insight into the beginning of the sport. It would also be great to get hear some of the pullers insight who got to pull John Brzenk at the beginning of his career, and answer the question past armwrestlers vs todays arm wrestlers. Great interviews!

I was there in Ottawa, in 2003 to witness this. At the time I was fresh in the sport, so I had no idea who this loud, brash guy was. But he dominated that day in convincing fashion. I also met Greg Boyes, who was nothing but kind to me. There were many top armwrestlers that day I saw. Engin Terzei, RJ Moleniere and more. It's great to see Travis still around.

Travis is a WV classic. It's amazing to think this guy is one of the best arm wrestlers that has ever lived. I was lucky enough to get a couple of training sessions with him and he was great a great teacher. He's got his rep but he's a great guy.

Amazing. Just amazing. Could listen to Travis all day. He’s probably the most likeable guy in arm wrestling (after Neil of course!) although can see how others don’t like him. He’s lazy and has probably only trained a small fraction of what other elites have done but I think he’s the best left of all time. Hope he gets back in to it.
