I’ve been following this guys progress since he played in Australia, I knew years ago that he would become a good ball player and now he’s on track to be a first round draft pick.🔥

Good for him. I have always been surprised that there aren't more Aussies in any of our leagues. I hope we see more of them.

Why are we glorifying athletes like this? We didn't used to do this. So mind boggling the priorities as a culture now.

Because they’re extremely talented? What’s wrong with showcasing cool stories about talented people

He comes off as a genuine young man with solid family values and a drive to succeed. What is wrong with glorifying that?

Humanity has glorified athletes since their origins, how do you think we even became so successful as a species? Ancient Roman children played with toy gladiators modeled after real fighters. Soccer is a sport that has risen global superstars for centuries now. It’s literally nothing new, some people have incredible physical talent that you have never and will never amount to and he’s one of them. Also if I’m being honest I think that’s the reason why you felt the reason to leave this comment, your bitter jealousy that you have not done anything with yourself to achieve what the world’s greatest athletes have achieved.

because it takes a ton of dedication to get where he is. It's inspiring and many people can apply it to their own lives and it can help them achieve their goals?
