Travis Head was easily playing on the off-side, yet the field placement wasn’t adjusted. Rohit was setting a very defensive field, which allowed easy runs to leak, including singles. You can’t blame the bowlers for that because Gabba is a pure batting track, where at least 350 runs can be scored easily. And when Alex Carey was scoring runs, Siraj was given only 2 overs. He could have created pressure, but instead, Carey easily took on the spinners. There wasn’t any pressure being applied from one end, which raises doubts about our bowling strategy.
