This is what "ONE" Five Star player looks like when they are on the field playing with players that don't rank any stars! Imagine you are a coach of a team, and you walk out to the field and your "ENTIRE TEAM" are FIVE STAR PLAYERS! Your Offense is run by the #1 High School player, and in his sophomore year in the college game, He is the best college football player of the year. He throws the ball to the best WRs in the country. The defence is made up of all Five Star players at every position. And headed by the #2 college player of the year. (some critics say he should have won the Heisman) The special team is made up of all five-star players. Sitting on the bench is all five-star players waiting their turn. You play in the toughest division in the country. facing other teams that are made up of Five Star players. That's another level! I really doubt Jackson State will get there! But If they do get more Five-Star players Jackson State will have to leave HBCU. The competition, and ranking but more importantly funding will make Jackson state football move out of HBCU.

Travis Hunter gave up the following to attend JSU: FCS National Championship, FBS National Championship, Heisman Trophy, NBC/CBS/Fox sports national exposure, additional NIL money, Top First Round Draft Status and Potential 8 figure NFL signing bonus. Travis must be thinking really long term. Like, "When I'm in my 50s people will say that I started a black movement back to HBCUs." Huge gamble, but let's see if it all pays off.

Maybe I’m wrong, and I hope I am because I really do wish the kid the best, but it feels like a mistake to go to JSU from a development standpoint. Yes he has Deion to coach him but you only get better from going against the top players in practice and games.
