If you guys never played at a power 5 School or in the NFL you will never understand the metrics of how the MVP not MVT are decided. In my opinion having played FBS and NFL the MVP award is credit to the player individual talents at their position making a difference doing something no one has done before. Jeanty is a awesome RB but he also have a top O-line ranked 23rd in the Country. Therefore Jeanty has help to plead his cause. Hunter is playing two full-time positions at over 100 snaps per-game at a high level one on one with no help to display his talents. The Heisman haven't gone to a RB since 2015 Derrick Henry and ever since then the RB position have become devalued. Why? Because the game of football has become a passing league. Top paid positions in football now is QB, WR, DB not RB and Travis Hunter plays two of the positions mentioned above.

Jeanty is a good running back. Hes getting the ball like for 30 mins a game. Hes a good running back. QB's are good quarterbacks. If we talking traditional position, he is doing the best at his position. But he is no Travis Hunter. The Heisman is reserved for the best player in College Football. What travis is doing has NEVER EVER been done at the volume that he is doing it on BOTH sides of the ball. Playing over 130 snaps a game and not just playing, BALLIN on both sides. With 6 Games left travis is gonna act a fool. Travis impact on both sides of the ball is ridiculous. Teams have to adjust when they see him both on offense and defense. They played in the Poinsettia bowl my dude! You wanna talk about hate on people, it is insane that Kellen Moore never got a Heisman. This dude is STILL TOP 10 ALL TIME for passing yards, passing completions, completion percentage, QBR, passing efficiency, and passing TDs. He owns the all time NCAA record for wins. In 2010 he had across the board the best stats of any QB for passing, accuracy and efficiency. BSU ranked as high as #2 in the nation throughout the entire season, beat 4 Top 25 teams including the ACC Champ in OOC on the road. The highest Moore got was 3rd in Heisman - and this BSU team made the MAACO bowl. Fyi 2010 8-5 UNRANKED UConn made a BCS bowl over this team. Ashton Jeanty has asked the Boise State head coach to play defense, but it's not gonna happen. There's a good reason why first string players are pulled out when they're blowing out another team; you don't wanna risk injuring your first string unnecessarily. Travis Hunter playing both sides of the ball is commendable and he's an amazing player; he also was greatly increasing his risk of injury. Now he's injured, and his Heisman prospects are also much lower because of his injury.
