Travis Japan Interview | “Crazy Crazy” & New Album ‘VIIsual’

Travis Japan was back in LA and I had the pleasure of speaking with them about their upcoming new album. How did you first discover their music?

I'm their huge fan since 2020. That time most of their songs were written in Japanese, but now, after they made their major debut, most of their songs became written in English and these are so cool. However I love both!!

I first saw AGT, and immediately started scouring their KZbin. I found their songs to be immature, but their passion and ambition more than made up for it, and the amount of love they conveyed to their viewers was something I couldn't get enough of!

I first learned about TJ's music from the members' visuals. lol😂 And I started liking it because I thought it was a stylish song.

I am from Hong Kong and I am a fan of Genta since 2012. Thank you for interviewing Travis Japan! I am glad to know from this interview that they are trying to produce the songs by themselves this time! They tried music from different genres in the last album, they were good to me, but I am exciting for what they gained from the experience and what they are going to project this time! Honestly, they are still not very good in English but I appreciate their hard work!

People can see that the Travis Japan Boys are working so hard to perfect their English ability…I have to constantly remind myself that they took on learning English seriously just a few years ago, especially when they stayed in LA. In January 2022, I saw them dancing to "SHAKE" (their senior song) on a TV show, and from there, I watched TJ's KZbin and listened to "夢の Hollywood," "VOLCANO," "The Show," "Lock Lock" and more, watched their great performance ,became a big fan of Travis Japan. Interviews in English are one of the things that makes me feel their growth, and I am very proud of them. Thank you so much ♡

Thank you for the interview and in helping them find words to express themselves. They are always sincere and quite funny on various social media. Many of their KZbin videos now have English subtitles and are entertaining for all viewers. I’d recommend D.U.N.K. and dance games like synching just hearing the dance steps or timing their dance without the music. Quite impressive!
