The Travis Scott situation is definitely a reason why people are mad at Nike for sure because they need to police these stores who are backdooring. Basically they backdoor they lose their account, but Nike obviously isn't looking to do much about it. It is also a catalyst for some people to look at the rep market and just buy a pair from there because the vast majority of people just want to wear the shoe and aren't concerned about resale value.

I actually hit the jackpot after having taken 22 loses on the SNKRS app. I didn't join any raffles and hit on size 13 on the Travis Scott website and SNKRS!!! I've heard the Travis Scott website has been canceling some orders, I'm holding my breath! So believe it or not Nike actually thrives off of sneaker resellers, they drive the hype guys which I know that should be Nikes Job but the they need the culture of sneaker heads and sneaker resellers which is something money doesn’t really buy, I think there’s a way to fix this problem I think Nike should offer a resellers program/school and content creator program that way they’re giving more opportunities to the regular person who loves shoes and wants to give it a try

And while I'm complaining 😂 my son is size 4 and he's only 7 years old and paying adult prices is fcking annoying and puts me off buying. What's even the point in releasing so few? The Travis release L is an expectation at this point. Even without the bots and backdoors there’s just not enough of these for everyone who wants one. But they made too many pairs or some recent 4s for no reason.

Got into sneakers about 2 years ago. Have a lot of the shoes I have wanted, maybe 5 or 6 pairs I'm still chasing like AJ1 Chicago and AJ1 Bred, but this was the first Travis Scott collab I was interested in and yeah, prob the last given the backdooring. Prob gonna get the last few sheos I am after and drop the hobby as a whole. Just isn't fun watching assholes grab 1000+ pairs just to starve the market for extra money.
