This is one of Travis’ greatest songs ever. The Cudi hums, samples, Philip Bailey and James Blake vocals, Stevie Wonder ripping the harmonica, Travis’ somber flow. The man is a genius.

This is one of those songs where you don't realize just how incredible it is after the 1st couple listens. Once you've played it back a handful of times you start to realize the sheer brilliance of this track. This is an absolute masterpiece...everything about it. Trust me when I say that if you give this song a fair chance and listen to it over and over, it's eventually going to click and become one of your all-time favorites.

I listened to the whole album now, gotta say it's extremely good. Not as mediocre bs like birds was. This is like a good mix of DaysBefore/Rodeo mixed with some different approaches and the beats on this one are out of this world fr. I love the diversity this project had and I'm glad its not that commercial at all. Seems like the Kardashian curse aint that true after all.
@chrismalinowski6546 жыл бұрын
schmidt. Exactly what I'm saying. It's not as good as rodeo or DBR of course but Travis did what majority of his fans wanted. Experimented with the production, less commercial bangers, more rapping, etc. Travis did everything he was supposed to do and put together a very good album! I'm not comfortable saying anything more than that after 1 listen but it's still a good album that is high quality in every aspect. He did good here. Better than birds for sure

He was on kings dead for like 7 seconds lol. He was better on Bloody Waters. Edit: But I do think the fact that a lot of people were leaving him out of King's Dead feature lists in the titles of videos was ridiculous. It would be like: JAY ROCK - KINGS DEAD (FEAT. KENDRICK LAMAR AND FUTURE) REACTION
