I think it was at this moment in the games (nmh3 and TSA) that I realized that the Suda we love, the one who makes not just games but art is back. perhaps these games were a way for suda to tell himself and us to keep going, to find the exit to paradise, because even if its painful , we have a home in the past, in paradise. one that we must kill but one that we must embrace too.

Travis had reached the exit to paradise he had sought ten years ago in No More Heroes 1. He was in front of the hero he respected the most in his life, in a world free of worries and pain and struggle. It was everything he had ever desired in the entire world, it was the thing that chained him down for years and pushed him to turn to the assassin's rankings in order to find meaning in his life. And he decided to let go of this paradise because there were people waiting for him back on earth. He decided he had to face his responsibilities even if it meant closing off what he desired the most in his life forever. He couldn't leave his friends, his family, all the connections he had made behind. He decided to come back to hell because it is a place where he matters in the life of people. And so he decided to kill his hero right here and there by rejecting John Winter's offer. The only thing that remained was to kill the only hero left. Himself. And so Winter cuts off Travis' head. No More Heroes.
