Can definitely tell and hear the difference bro!!! Also thank you for doing this. Recording myself is something that I’ve been wanting to do. So this video is a confidence booster and it simplifies this process. Keep it up bro🤙🏼

Nice video. I use Maudio air192/4 and i absolutely love it. I set it on a perforated panel tools with all my gig stuff so i can just play standing or on a chair and litteraly just easily use my arms to set volumes and see whats happening or pick something out of the panel. I also lenghtened all the inputs from a 1.50m so i could plug from my desk and no directly into the interface (that's a pain), no sound loss. its so intuitive, and i love the sound it gets as air is already included with the crystal preamp, and man... it's cheap !! Also have protools but i prefer ableton.

i and my kids really love music, we play the instruments , we Dance and we also Sing. we really love to set up our small home studio , we been able to get some equipments but our major problem now is an audio interface. and its expensive here in my country.. we can't wait to have an audio interface in our hands...

That's awesome. What country do you live in? A lot of times you can find ones used on like Facebook Marketplace or Ebay that would be cheaper. My first interface was used and it lasted me for a few years.

Great video Travis! Yes, I can hear the difference with the “air” button ON! I use the 2i2 when recording my bass guitar, but have a lot of noise/volume issues (I use GarageBand and don’t know how to use the plugins for noise reduction, compression, etc.). Could you please help me with some tips to reduce noise? (I have a constant buzzer and a need to crank the gain/volume knobs to get a recordable tone)…

Can you make a video about what to do as a beginner bass player in the studio trying to record bass(like talking how to good in the studio and not to overplay or to keep the groove, playing beside the drummer and staff like those).

Oh yeah! That's a great video idea. I'm definitely going to put that on my list. Basically, where I walk through how I approach recording a bass track?

Hello Mr. Dykes . I hear some of the gospel bass players have that boomy or that sub bass -kind of sound, but the high freq when they're slap and pop is so sweet. Do you know how can i get that kind of sound? i usually see them with bassmod basses .

Great video Travis! Does the 8i6 have a louder headphone amp, being that it doesn't rely in bus power?
@TravisDykes3 жыл бұрын
Between the 8i6 and the 2i2, there was a slight difference in volume, clarity and control using the focusrite control software. I couldn't really hear a huge difference as far as volume, but since its pushing 2 outputs it's most likely pushing higher volume.

Bro quick question can you use this interface for practicing purposes? I connect my bass and iems to it but I get no bass sound unless I open Logic Pro and use a bass preset there. Any suggestions or am I doing it wrong ?

@TravisDykes3 жыл бұрын
Well, I just realized that my bass pedal has been discontinued so that's why the link isn't working. I had a few others asked the same question, so I'm on the hunt for a new pedal so all of you guys can purchase it as well. If you still want this pedal you can probably find it on Facebook Marketplace or Ebay. Sorry about that.

@TravisDykes3 жыл бұрын
Yes. You can run it through your P. A. That's how I run mine currently. Your computer should use it as the output for any audio that you play from the computer, so if you have speakers hooked up to your interface it will come through.
