People were so close-minded and unnecessarily critical of Season 4-6. But that’s how real life is. Plans change, and people change after graduation. And Glee reflected all that chaos Post-graduation. Listen we were all hot messes in our 20s

By S06, weren't Rachel and Kurt, etc. only 2 years out of high school (since S05 was still the second half of that next school term)? That would put them at most maybe 20 years old. I was 19 two years after graduation. They sure did go through A LOT in those couple of years, that's for sure!

The thing that gets me about Season 6 is a LOT of people thought it got too ridiculous. Like I'm sorry - everyone loved the chaos of the first season, got mad when the show got too serious, then mad again when they try to be chaotic again? Pick a side

It was bittersweet to see the seniors graduate as season 3 came to an end but that's how it was. I feel like this episode should've been split in two so we could see everyone say goodbye properly. I remember being so shocked by the ending and it took me some time to accept that Finn was doing the right thing for Rachel. The last scene where she arrives in New York as she sings Roots Before Branches is one of my favorite scenes from the show, Lea killed it with the song and her acting. "You're gonna be a star without me" is a line that continues to hit extremely hard.

"I'm sure he helped a lot of people around the world with his character" He really, really did, and once again Burt being the best. Burt was this example of what dad's should be, and Kurt (from what I know) was one of the first really prominent gay characters on tv when Glee was airing.(from the TV I watched. Willow on Buffy was the first. I love Buffy. If you haven't seen it, watch it.) This whole episode though was hurt for The End, all these friendships breaking apart. We don't have these graduations from high school in my country though. It's kinda funny. Oh wait, before I even see it, the end of this episode is .... tears.... It's so sweet and hurts so much And as sad as it is, I respect Finn so much in that scene

I still remember how LIVID I was at Kurt not getting into NYADA. Not only it never made sense considering he nailed his audition and Rachel choked on hers, having to stalk Carmen to get a 2nd chance, but it was a sign of a bad writing practice the later seasons had. Chris Colfer was a great dramatic actor for the show, and sometimes the writers would overindulge that aspect of his acting by making the character basically have a harder time with life all the time. Nothing was ever granted to Kurt, he always had to face BS to accomplish things despite always excelling.

That episode...I have so many feels by watching it, I always remember my college graduation when I hear Glory Days, because in my graduation college, they played that song, I feel like I was in the show 😍😍😍😍😭😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️♥️ And yes, like everyone, I always think Glee should have ended on this episode. When Rachel arrives to NY, is how I always imagined the end of Glee 😶

I think after this they should've chosen one path for the show. Either a) continue to follow the leads in NY in their new lives (with occasionally visits home for holidays and Mr. Schue as an occasional guest star) OR keep Mr. Schue as the main character like in the first season and follow the new kids in Glee club (with the seniors popping back in occasionally as guest stars). They tried to do both and it was just way too much and the show suffered. I like someone else's idea in the comments for a spinoff show too. They basically tried to cram two entirely different shows together and it didn't work.

At the time, I agreed with what Finn did, taking Rachel to the train station. But now, while I get in the long run it was important, the way he just blindsided her like that is so frustrating. No wonder later on she brings up how much that caused her to lose trust in him, I would have been so angry as well.

SPOILER ALERT for Travis (although he's already at least partway through S04 by now I'd imagine): This is when they should have split Glee into two shows, while the ratings were still very good. Regular Glee should have continued with the remaining cast members as well as the new ones that will be introduced in S04. Glee NY (or whatever) should have had Rachel, and Kurt, and Santana, etc. and built a whole new world (and later reintroducing Sam and Artie and Blaine . . . ). The S04 seniors should have graduated at the end of that season and not stretched it out to S05. Imagine introducing and mixing the S06 characters in with the new Glee members. That might have been very cool. Sure maybe one or both of the shows may have sunk, but two shows would have been more impactful for each cast, instead of having people fly back to Lima every other episode (or Lima folks flying to NYC). I don't know, that's how I see it.

dont listen to the people about the next season, as you might be already in it by now on patreon. Its suppose to be different since the seniors is graduating then there will be new members to the glee club. My own opinion is that season 4 is not as bad as people make it to be, and personally i really like the seasons after 3, and they couldnt just stop there that would be too much unanswered questions.

They actually changed the ending of this season to accomodate Cory going to rehab. They held an intervention and he wanted to finish his scenes first. He would come back in season 4 for the last time looking noticeably skinnier thann usual.

that was during season 4. the intervention was during season 4, the areas that were most rewritten were the end of season 4 and beginning of season 5. season 4 episode 19 is when finn is sent off to go to college, which was actually rehab, which he only did a month of his 3 months before leaving early before he overdosed not too long after. at this point in 2011, at the end of season 3 there was still talks of cory, lea, and chris doing a spin off in NY. everything you’re saying is true, but it happened a year later.

Season 1-3 feels like a chapter 1 while 4-6 feels like a whole new chapter season 4 was definitely the most interesting season in glee in my opinion.

Season 4 is a okay season. Season 5 it's really a mess and you know why but there is some great moments. Season 6 is reallyyyyyy a good season, Glee knew how to ending the show and i love every second of it.

Okay honestly it has never made any sense to me how Rachel got in and Kurt didn’t. I don’t even get why Carmen came to nationals in the first place. Rachel literally harassed and stalked Carmen and she still gave her a chance. I get Rachel is insanely talented but her behavior towards her was so immature and unprofessional

God it makes sense if you pay attention to the story telling, i twas a dramatic cliffhanger . Kurt and Rachel journey to NYADA mirrors each other, going back and forth will they, will he, wil she, make it won't they/he/she make it? And I am sure you know it ends with unusual chances that only happen in fiction (4 both). Performing arts school and athletic depts often scout potential students. And FFS she called Carmen a few too many times and sent a food basket that might be a bit annoying, but it falls way short of harassment and Tina gave her the idea to visit her. If anyone else did that, you all would be praising them for their dedication and persistence.

He almost did, well. It surely decreased his interest a lot towards the end but he'll react to anything that's sponsored by Patreon and a couple of members have pitched in so he can start season 5 asap, but I feel it's going to be a long, long road. Now it will depend on sponsorships, mostly.
