Filing for bankruptcy doesn’t affect business, it just means that they have too much debt and need a plan to repay it. If the company was closing down due to bankruptcy that still doesn’t affect your flight today/ yesterday. Companies have 60 days to close down, so it isn’t that fast.

I think they must have plans. I have a Spirit flight booked and paid for in the beginning of February and they made a change to it, it’s a little earlier but that is all.

They filed a chapter 11 bankruptcy which is in effect restructuring, their debt and they’ve got some backing from companies who will basically bring in some money to aid them and paying their debts as a sign of good faith that they will come out of this restructuring with a strong plan going forward. In the case of chapter 11, it gives companies the opportunity to restructure things so hopefully that’s all that’s gonna happen. Some companies can emerge from bankruptcy stronger and some companies do not so it’ll be interesting to see what happens.

The entire D concourse was utilized by Midwest Airlines back in the day. Midwest Connect used the bottom level of D since those were all small regional jets. Once Midwest went away - the bottom level of D has been pretty quiet.

All the gates in Concourse D used to be Midwest Airlines. They used the "downstairs" gate for their smaller planes, including some prop planes, in the early 00's. Once they were merged into Frontier, the used occasionally until AirTran/Southwest came in and became the dominant carrier at MKE

The lower area in the MKE airport use to be used for flights when Midwest express was around. Was used for smaller planes and shorter flights. A few of the gates down there boarded outside which was a cool experience.

Two things in this video that were most special... First, when Kyle is about to open his present, and Casey comes over and hugs him and says 'I love you'. She seems so happy in that moment and it's nice to see her that way.... not that she's nor happy any other time. Just that there seems like something even more special for her in that moment. And second, her reaction when she opens her package and knows what her present is. Again she shows such happiness. I think Casey is adorable, and both she and Kyle make a great couple. What are you guys doing with that room? Maybe consider a round coffee table with four swivel chairs around it. Extra seating for TV viewing or a conversation area. You could add a bar cart or a small cabinet for a bar set up.

It’s crazy that I’ve flown on spirit a few times and never have had an issue. I’ve flown on American, Delta, JetBlue and had various issues - but have flown them more to be fair. Also Spirit was the safest airline last year. I feel like there was more of a difference until every airline added a lower tier ticket option where you don’t get any bags or perks. People will fly Spirit, then fly American on the lowest price ticket and pretend there is a difference lol. Always was surprised on Spirit that drinks and snacks were basically the same price as other airlines - and my last flight they gave us free drinks. Maybe I’ve just had good Spirit luck and should quit while I’m ahead with them 😂😂😂
