I have a 1997 traxxas nitro sport that still runs great and still has the original engine. And a lot of times when I first start it I get mild idle creep too. I have a small brick I just set in front of it when I first start it. After I run it a bit and it warms up, the idle creep tends to stop. I also noticed when I first bought it way back then, the more I ran the engine over the years and broke it WAY in 😂 the idle creep is not bad at all. Nice run man. Electric cars are great and much easier to run and maintain. But There’s just nothing like the sound and smell of a nitro RC car. Also, keep it a touch on the rich side, it will keep the glow plugs from fouling so quickly. I keep a digital temp gauge in my pocket when I drive mine and check the engine temp regularly. I never let the engine get over 180 degrees. And pretty much every time I drive mine it doesn’t die out until the gas tank is bone dry. And I rarely foul my glow plugs that way too. Near the end of your run I heard that thing idling high. That sound usually tells me it’s running lean and probably getting hot.

cool video! How did you fix the creep on idle? got a new nitro slash, already did a break in but it keeps rolling on idle

@guylevinger9330 I haven't been able to get it to stop creeping. I have had people say richening the low speed needle helps, but I have had no luck.
