Joe, get some proline paddles and rims. They have removable hexes so when you spin the hex, only need to replace the middle hex and bot the whole wheel. Have a set of those for my SBR and it has worked perfect
@paulclancy24042 жыл бұрын
You shouldn't be be spinning hexes i just got roped into that whole ordeal 130$ for ser 2.8 trenches lol
@carlmartin25212 жыл бұрын
@@paulclancy2404 well unfortunately once in awhile they come loose when you're not paying attention and there goes the hex lol

Yeah . They also have a aluminum hub upgrade. And looks sick with it . Never an issue 😉

hey joe m2c racing sells a kit for stripped out 17mm wheel hexs. i used them on my kraton but they are universal. you drill some holes in the plastic rim and it uses bolts to clamp the 2 pieces together around the rim. works great to save all those good tires with stripped hexs. great video also man
@ExocagedRC2 жыл бұрын
I may need those. LoL
@jessewilliamson24082 жыл бұрын
@@ExocagedRC if you look on the arrma 6s line they are on page 3 they sell them in a set of 2 or you can get a set of 4. check them out made of 7075 also
@paulclancy24042 жыл бұрын
If tgey cost as much as the wheel whats the point
@jessewilliamson24082 жыл бұрын
@@paulclancy2404 you can use them forever. it can be used on any stripped wheels you have. not just 1. so for a 1 time buy you can use them on any wheel you strip out from then on

I like the Proline Dumont tires because they have the replaceable wheel hexes, but unfortunately they're not belted.

I ran paddles on mine last week, I posted a vid, pretty sure it was the initial cause of my rear ring gear losing some teeth. I can almost hear some clicks when I rewatch the video. Time to upgrade

This is why I use proline sling shots with aluminum hexs ... Sick tho

looks exactly like the e-revo that i sank a ton of money into just to watch it literally burn to the ground. idk if id be able to buy another traxxas after that burndown. good lookin truggy tho

Do you like the sledge? is it worth it?
@uan5882 жыл бұрын
Asking honestly. Hasn’t hinge pins break. And gears and dog bone pin shift. Nothing but trouble with mine. I have 8 Traxxas vehicles. Yea m not a rookie

Sludge has 'new vehicle' problems as most do. My LHS owner got/sold 3. Sold 2 to newbies, 1 to a dude i know thats been n2 surface vehicles for decades. All 3 have drivetrain issues. AKA Traxxas Sludge.
@joseCalderon19762 жыл бұрын
It's too heavy! That's what I've noticed from the videos. And the metal used is not that good 👎
@paulclancy24042 жыл бұрын
I don't feel so bad about my kraton diffs now lol 😆 I own alot rcs and exactly right the heavier the vehicles and more we can get vehicles planted the more strain on the diffs . The maxx is good example even if increase the rotational mass ( i just put kraton wheels on mine) the truck can't really get the power to the ground so diffs realky aren't that stressed. The kraton sledge super-sized truggys with mt wheels the diff maintenance is the tradeoff no other vehicles going bash as well

It sucks how the sledge nose dives because of motor placement
@paulclancy24042 жыл бұрын
Sure uk but because its not a actually a hex and traxxas pritoratary crap and not the wheels fault have you stripped any paddles not using a traxxas rig. I just used your link for some wheels adds up fast I probably spend 1000 year on rc wheels lol

Because YOU are a newbie/rookie. Typical mistakes.

Seems like traxxas jus needs to retire the revo & proceed with this platform
