Traxxas Maxx 1 Month Review and WideMaxx Kit Install!

I've had my Traxxas Maxx for about a month and wanted to share my thoughts on it. Overall, a great rig! I did notice a couple of things I wanted to change. One of the biggest issues was the fact the car just wanted to roll-over. In this video, I will also be installing the Traxxas WideMaxx Kit Part #8995.

Good review on the Maxx. I think I will have to add the WideMaxx kit at some point. I have been happy with my Maxx, good over all truck. Will be interesting to see how the drive shafts work.

Yeah, good point, the driveshafts will be a weak point. You definitely have given that beast a beating....glad it has held up for you.....our recent Traxxas bashers purchases have been disappointing. But glad to see this has been one tough beast for you. Great 1 month review!

Has stood up to bashing well, but a kit to make the car stable Traxxas makes more money. Over the old E-revo having no pivot balls in the hubs is partly why more unstable than the old revo.

Bas Boy RC - agreed, it is ridiculous you have to spend money to make the car handle the way it should have from the get go. It’s all a money pit

@@AxiomaticPro This is one of my pet hates with the hobby, ready to run and the parts are not up to the job. One of the reasons I like kits as you save money from the start because you fit the right parts. How many time have we all changed the servo on a crawler because too weak or they have broken. Plus un-glued tyres for easier metal wheel upgrades.

First time I ran mine battery fell out. Upgraded to velcro straps. Common problem on the maxx

LOVE the Maxx! DEFINITELY may be in our future for sure. AWESOME review man. LOVE my Xmaxx. But wanted a car that hugs the ground a little better. So went with the dB XL-E. GREAT vid man.🔥💯🔥🤜🤛🔥
