The sand is AWESOME until its time to clean or replace parts that have been sand blasted lol. If you get a chance it's 10/10 fun!! 🍻🍻

I prefer mostly plastic as plastic will bash better without bending and it’s cheaper to replace those parts multiple times even compared to upgrading to aluminum. This truck is definitely pricey for what it is though. Great review 👍

I just bought the XRT $1000 and they don’t even give u the Bluetooth piece. lol. wtf? I hate Traxxas.

Yep, we thought the same thing with the Maxx Slash and XRT both.... seems bit silly to exclude it for sure! 🍻🍻

I’ve never had great luck with traxxas customer service I’ve called about only a few small things and they fought me the whole way… I just don’t come to expect anything from traxxas considering they argued about replacing my servo gears for my trx4m I had for less than a week saying I miss used the truck when I’ve only had time to do a couple circles on my living room carpet… I wasn’t looking for a whole servo but just to replace my striped gears which I’m sure cost very little to produce…

We're sorry to hear about your luck, we've heard horror stories since this video was posted, and have come to the conclusion that most RC (and non rc) manufacturers are hit and miss with support. Typically though when you pay a premium you expect good support to come with it.... For the TRX4m I would trash the servo anyway and get something better... Thanks for watching and providing further evidence that Traxxas is....welll.... Traxxas..... 🍻🍻

@ at the time of the issue there was very limited servos available at the time for the trx4ms I run reefs in my main and the other 3 have the metal gear traxxas servos in them just makes me want to buy my cars used and use 3rd party parts on it only..traxxas can make a great product but they wringing out there customers!

So far (knock on wood) we've not had to replace anything, and the only broken part is the back bumper which is fine until it's mangled.. 🍻🍻

My servo is already having issues. I’ve ran the truck through a couple batteries. I’ve contacted Traxxas since the onset on day 2 of owning it. And get no help. I’m told I don’t know how to drive the Maxx slash. I’m told, That they’ve driven it extensively and that can’t be the issue. No hey we’ll send you one. Send us a video of your slow servo. The only things they’ll warranty are batteries and chargers. It’s frustrating to spend 700$ and have no warranty what so ever. I had to buy my own replacement and the bracket to hold it because it’s odd size. I’m not spending 140$ for a Traxxas servo that has the same KG as my scx24. The one in the stock truck is 8kg
