Bro i was just about to say the same thing, it sounds like chassis slap, very loud, my Maxx V1 doesn’t do that. Wondering why this one does. Great video brother, i just feel bad for kids that get the truck on Christmas and throw a battery in it & rip it many might be a bit disappointed, it’s a truck you need to tune and adjust out of box. You may want to take a look at the VG racing springs. I run them in a lot of my trucks and I found it there are really nice in the maxx

For me, 40F isn't cold, but it's cold for RC's. Much below 50F and plastic starts getting more brittle, fingers get stiff. Even super thin knit gloves dull the trigger feel. Planning on taking my kraton exb for it's second bash and maxx v1 out again tomorrow. Supposed to get up to 43F by noon. Just cool enough to have to wear pants and a jacket. :( Really wish I had run my v1 maxx in stock form at least once as I have no point of reference with it. I bought it, removed the motor/esc/radio/tires. Installed the wide kit with recommended oil weights, also installed a MMX/1515 2200kv I had. Threw on some cheap amazon tires and got backflip lp's on traxxas 8671's shortly after. Sold off the stock stuff. After the 3rd 4S pack with the backflip lp's, busted a rear yoke and twisted both axles. Got steel cvd's. Found that I couldn't clear some of the jumps with gearing that didn't overheat the motor/esc on 4S and went to 6S... so no clue how it drove/performed with stock anything.

I have watched your Maxx V1 and V2s videos while trying to decide if I should sell my E-Revo 2.0 and replace it with a Maxx V2. So far I am not convinced that the Maxx V2 is a more enjoyable basher. The only thing I see is it may break less, but it seems like the E-Revo 2.0 is easier to control in the air. I also like the fact that the E-Revo 2.0 has metal drive shafts from the start. I know you have not had the Maxx V2 that long, but so far which would you choose between the E-Revo 2.0 and Maxx V2?

yeah that's the one (I'm pretty sure). cut 2mm off the end. adds a bit more travel to the shocks.

The regular maxx was a little bit too small because I was gonna get an E Revo 2.0 but now that the latest version is a little bit longer I’m just gonna put bigger wheels I had an x maxx when they originally came out and then sold it got out of the hobby and now I’m 19 and definitely going to get the maxx v2 it’s $100 cheaper

I test and tune to do the opposite , keep the power to the ground , I didn't use ear plugs used 200k in center diff outcast 8s and still wheelies and its very under powered even with a more powerful system wheeling will never be a issue . I guess just my preference im going try a spool same as locking probably in the infraction tho

But Razor was talking about steering and heavy diff fluid, or locking the centre diff, is going to affect steering - severe push. To correct that, you need significantly lighter diff fluid. 👍

I almost sold my Erevo 2.0 to get one of these, but I really love the way my revo drives. I think maybe replacing one of my Rustler's but not my revo! This truck still looks great, but replacement for an erevo it is not!!!!
