I think the long travel helps it with wheelies too. I got progressive in mine and it won’t even pop the frontend. Switching to long travel right now!

Yes.. The long travel definitely helps with wheelies. Once you get used to the truck being a little tipsy the long travel suspension is so much better making it a real monster truck. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Ya I know. My local hobby shop is also the owner of the THS pipes. He told me do to the pandemic materials where hard to get. He said hopefully soon he will be making Jato pipes first.

Sorry for late reply. I installed a forward only conversion in the transmission, THS exhaust system and the long rockers on the suspension. Raising the suspension really helps with wheelies.

Hello boss. Before nothing great video amd skills for drive 😅. I would like to know what adjust you have in the engine because my one never done those wheelies. Did you fit any metal gear or is from factory, i ask you because I sold my one because every month I needed to fit the new pinion gear and I see that yours goes absolutely brilliant 👌. I loved that truck, but I finished tired to buy every month one pinion gear ( that one that is fitted to the engine). Thanks for your attention 👍.

Hello!! I started with the high speed needle 4.5 turns out then slowly lean it to get the most but always checking temps. I did do the forward only conversion but no metal gears in the transmission. The spur gear is the original stock gear no upgraded gears. I hope some of this info helped you. Thanks for watching.

Hello...I also had another revo and that wheelied also. Two things I found it to wheelie. Forward only conversion really brings out the power and the tall long suspension. I also use VP Master Basher fuel. Hopefully this helps.

How tight is your slipper clutch?

It's tight but not over tight. I always bench test too make sure there is some slip. I used to tighten it all the way and was breaking the main shaft in the transmission. Learned my lesson on that one.

Your Revo is running amazing well!!!🤩 It must be a blast to drive it around 😊 The only thing on your carb tuning that I would want to change is the LSN setting which I would try to set about 5 minutes richer in order to get a cleaner rev down to the idle speed. Before I purchased my Savage xl ,I was undecided between them two and the T-MAXX😅 However,in the end I had took the decision to buy the XL and I"m highly hoping that the XL will be also fun to drive.It"s still waiting after his rebuild to be remaiden😋 Thumbs up for your great Revo ride!!

Yeah I know,you have swaped the LRP Z.28 on it ,I"ve watched the Break-in video of it several times😉 The spring seems to be some kind of lazy this year, I have here the same issue..2 oder 3 days good weather and the rest of the time only crappy weather with rain out there..🤮 Anyway ,as soon as possible I will tune my 1:8 buggy (also with a Z.28 LRP inside) to the 16% nitro fuel because saome idiots here in Europe had decided to ban every nitro fuel with more than 16% nitro and as soon as the buggy is well tuned I think that I will proceed to my Savage XL.. By the way, can"t wait for the next video of your Savage XL,man I love your old style blue bodyshell so much!! I had the 2014 edition,so it has the newer Paintjob design which isn"t so nice as trhe old style.. If you want,I can send you some pictures of mine😎 Thanks for posting!

Your Revo is running great! I'll have a video up on mine soon in my sand pits. I need to work on my tune. I wasn't getting any wheelies but I did do several really clean back flips. Wasn't going as fast as yours though and definitely not pulling wheelies. More tuning needed! Great video as always.

Thank you very much. Back flips are great. Before l did and mods l was able to do wheelies by going about 3mph slam on the brakes then instantly hit full throttle. The suspension bounce should bring the wheels right up..

It would be even better if you put a OS 11k carb on it. Makes the 3.3 so much better and even opens up the bottom end even more. That pipe is rad too! I want one!

Awesome man. I just got a revo about 4 months ago but the front wheels seem absolutely wobbly as hell, when I'm ripping it and I'm in front of it as it's coming towards me I can see the front wheels wobbling all over the place. Does it have something to do with the bearings maybe?

Thank you!! Could possibly be the bearing if it is the wheels will wiggle by hand. If that's not it it could be the way the foams were installed in the tire at the factory. Hopefully you figure it out The Revo really is the best. Thank you for watching..

I own a revo and had the same issue on pavement !! What I did was lower the TSM when driving on the roads. On dirt or grass it’s ok but pavement always gave me wobbles also. Let me know if it helps.
