The mamba monster 2 is water resistant. I have 4 of them now but currently on run 1 as kind of the test dummy. I run the fan also. It kept thermally cutting off on windy 20 degree night with fresh snow on the ground.

I'm still saying it's water resistant because I have not run it under water. I did run it through some snow, puddles and a little bit of mud. I even sprayed it off with my garden hose. So far so good for me.

I want to get the MMM V2 for the savage flux but i'm not sure how "waterproof" it is, so i'm happy your gonna test it like this....and how much did it cost you to replace everything that got caught in the esc melt down

That's the biggest confusion. While the ESCs are waterproof (not water resistant)...the fans that's attached to them are NOT waterproof! And Castle has that on their website as well as in the manual. They tell you to disconnect the fan before putting any liquids on the ESC.

Hopefully it works great because I'm thinking ofputting a mommba monster 2 set up in my summit with the difs and all that just so it can keep up with the bandit and stuff but to me a summit is a summit converted from A E revo or not

I want to make a police 1/16 e revo vxl with lights. I am doing a lot of research and I like the j concepts illusion body/proline bead locks on dirt hogs/all the blue rpm parts for it/traxxas pink stripe springs/steel drive shafts/dual servos that's all really.

You need to lower your start up power or you will smoke that thing again. I smoked one in a slash not even bashing that hard. Now that it has low start up power it runs perfect.
