I love mine soo much! It totally rips on 6s. The Fox body wasn't available at the time i wanted one so got the blue Method race wheels version and then found a Fox body a couple weeks later and had to have it! Amazing suspension as you said and the realism to a real trophy truck or Baja 1000 truck is really cool. 🏁

You should see the must do upgrades videos made by amain hobbies. Maybe the first 2 upgrades are worth it. Also you may need to block the holes inside the wheels.

There fun but they are brakomatics & they need the rear end, front end, & trans serviced constantly. If you want a rc that need worked on 24/7 the udr is your jam👍

Im not anti any brand personally, but i do like how easy it is to get traxxas parts, i do own a losi, axial and a arrma haha! Buy what makes you happy

It sucks to get a new one and going on the internet and looking up traxxas udr and searhing upgrades and then seeing all of that and then spending 4k on them like it takes years to do and save up I do that Thats why im scared to get new rc cars lol

Haha personally I try and get as much from a stock rig as possible, wear out what you have then upgrade! Now adding bigger motor/ esc is where I loose control lol

​@mikerc69 you should see mine though the radiator fans actually work and all ceramic bearings cnc aluminum axle housing and center diff too and pinion and spur upgrade and center diff spider gear upgrade and both suspension arms and trailing arms and transmission housing and motor mount and the motor bearings and speedometer and im goona paint the heads on the people inside soon and carbon fiber skid plate and metal skid plate on top of that and metal I think cnc aluminum suspension arm stiffener and cnc front bulkhead and front and rear diff gear upgrade and rear locker upgradr and front driveshaft cnc aluminum and front drive cups vitavon and steel suspension links and upgrade all shocks and shock covers and all satin chrome plated and chrome and red beadlocks and big paddles and don't have them yet but I will soon and front diff housing upgradr and center diff housing upgrade I have so much I lost count

Do it! I love mine very much. I got the blue (Method Racing wheels) at first but watching more and more videos I had to have that orange/white (Fox) body! So I have the Method and Fox body's along with many upgrades already. 3 months in so far and just is amazing. The suspension is what got me !

This thing is so much fun on 4s.....6s breaks more.....love my Fox body UDR......only broken parts were the brake disc.....spare 2 tires and drive shaft is cool too.....you might look into the open diff too.....less rollovers.....😎👍

I might get this for my birthday, quick question, is it difficult to drive because apparently my dad said that “if its too hard then you loose the fun.” And im just curious because if its not hard to drive then i might have a chance to get it.

It drives different due to the solid axle, but it’s very scale which makes it fun, if you turn hard going fast on a grippy serfave it does tend to try and flip, but it’s not bad in my opinion, the truck is awesome you would like it!

Great vid dude XD I LOVE this RC have had it since launch and I HIGHLY recommend 6s also when the tires wear it is better on grass and pavement and flips less, I always save a pair of worn tire just for that and save the newer ones for Dirt. I added weight to it by swapping the rear axle housing center transmission and front diff housing to aluminum and it makes a BIG difference and it helps with heat. Speaking of heat that is my ONLY real complaint with this car especially when you drive it for long periods like I do (sometimes 2 or 3 hours with no breaks) the motor driveshaft and center diff all get quite hot and don't cool unless you STOP driving for a while. I made a Video about some of the mods I did but I need to update it but after adding 3 fans 2 motor heatsinks and aluminum Planetary gear reduction as well as the previously mentioned parts this thing NEVER get hot no matter how hard I drive it BUT... it weighs like 25lbs now but the weight just makes it look and FEEL more REAL just don't let a child drive it they will kill you by accident XP

Awesome man yes I really love the truck! I will look into those mods, I’ve heard about the planetary gear set running hot, and fans too. Haven’t had much runtime with mine yet but I really wanna push the stock truck, then start modding lol but we’ll see how that goes, I’ll check out your channel thanks for the comment!

@@mikerc69 No problem Oh one more thing after about a year worth of driving in dirt the Stock Servo Saver got SUPER sloppy from dirt and I had Replace it with aluminum and I also had over tighten it to deal with the weight been 4 years and my Aftermarket servo is still fine . So if you notice the Truck not tracking straight even after adjusting the trim,, it is DEFINITELY the servo saver they DO NOT like dirt. I tried another stock one a doubled the spring and it still failed for metal is the only option i got one from HR

Got the fox orange a week out of the box shocks started weeping only used on my nice clean short grass a few times all 8 shocks leaked dry and cars a mess sitting in it's box pretty shit to be honest and yes it's a spare drive shaft and wheels are usable

Sorry to hear that, I have had Traxxas shocks leak right out of the box, maybe call Traxxas and see if they will send you a seal kit or something

Eventually I think the UDR will drop $50-100 then I’m picking one up for sure. Suspension is craaazy plush. When you were driving it out to the road it just soaked that bump up like it was nothing 7:01

It’s crazy, I agree I hope it goes down some, it’s a lot of money, I can see they put in a lot of effort in the truck, it’s hefty and feels like a high quality unit! It’s crazy off road watching it soak up bumps like the real thing.
