For sure you have change the pinion to go faster and with max 6 it shouldn't heat up

How much of a difference, Philly? I bought a max6 5 years ago to put in my XMaxx - its still in the box. The guy I bought my X from was bashing it on 18/50t - thought it would have killed the stock esc.

@rcbeast101 cheers maybe its worth trying. Saying that, it took me 2 years just to replace my centre drive shaft. My rc's kinda the lo and slow version...

@@rcbeast101 I was thinking a Max 5 would be night and day in the Xmaxx. You should pair it up with a 1250 KV sensored.
