The Klay TJD 2-man game is REAL

Jackson-Davis got some excellent passes from Klay. Klay’s shot was off, but his assists and defense was awesome. ❤❤❤

Curry is carrying some heavy weight out there with Thompson and Podz..Nice to see TJD step up and help..17/5 in 15 minutes
@RDSports54 ай бұрын
Podz had 10 points and 9 rebounds. I know he didnt shoot it well, but he got to the FT line a few times, hit a couple threes, made some really nice passes, and overall played some really scrappy defense, as he always does. Klay had an off night though, and although he came off the bench, he still played 28 minutes.. WAY too much again, but Kerr will likely ride it out all the way with Klay, starting or not. Would've been nice to see some of those minutes go to Moody, Quinones, or Santos though

No reason TJD should be playing behind Loon at this point

That's been clear since the game at Portland earlier in the season. Kerr finding ways to hand out dnps to TJD and Moody is criminal.

He was a little rusty as Kerr hasn't used him much this past month or so, but he still was effective. Kerr needs to play him and used Loon to spell TJD, not the other way around.

They needed that all-star break to make more plays for TJD other than PnR. This would also make Green put some rest on center spot because he's already 33 years old. He needs to be healthy before playoffs. TJD will make a difference in these remaining games. I hope he could get consistent minutes.
@franknoir93784 ай бұрын
ion think can take all that rest as he is crucial on main warriors defense as he's the one who facilitates the plays, something trayce isn't capable

Warriors lookin better this year than last year because of Kuminga's sudden rise and both Rookies Podz and TJD. Last year they never have these types of players one is a natural rim protector and pick and roller and a smart high energy point guard that plays like a veteran. I hope if they ever make it to the Playoffs they can play 9-10 player rotation if that was achievable although highly unlikely. Hope to see this Starters Podz, Curry, Wiggins, Kuminga and Draymond. 2nd Unit Cp3, Moody, Klay, Saric, and TJD or TJD and Loonie. Loonie and Saric both liability in defense😅 Quiñonez and Gui will surely not play.

Kerr never gives TJD a chance to play with Green to see how that looks. Always rolls him out with slow footed Saric. That's when he does play him. Usually he's a DNP.

Warriors were a 1 pitch pitcher last year. Doesn't matter how good your fastball is. Pro players will hit it. TJD on the slip / roll and Kuminga with the post-up force teams to scheme and prep differently. Like a change up and a slider. Then, the fastball is much harder to hit.

I don't know how you can measure / evaluate it, but his jump speed makes him stand out. The dude gets off the ground fast and makes up for his height (and athleticism? he's not an explosive athlete).
@pushslice4 ай бұрын
You’re right nothing much jumps off the page in terms of athleticism. He just seems to have a mature awareness of “ getting to the right spot ”. I don’t think that’s all thanks to coaching. Some of that is just innate & self-directed ..

Two career-ending injuries? Kobe after just an Achilles was washed and had to retire... Klay had an Achilles AND an ACL tear. It's a miracle he can still play at the level he does, but unfortunately his weak leg has made his shot off-balanced, especially when he tries to force things.
