Great routine. Dope set up. Gotta question for Trayze or anyone else that may know. At 4:30 it looks like the reloop got switched to a different mode and it looks like it got used to drum in a pattern but you were able to get the pattern to repeat playing on it's on. Coming from the traktor world I'm not familiar with serato but was that a loop recorder or some type of internal sequencing.

We can do this in traktor with the new update using the freeze mode.

I may be mistaken, but that seemed to me like he had 4 samples loaded to the SP1. The last sample, is the actual beat set to play through all the way, the 1st and 2nd cue point may have been the same file set to play while holding the pad (they are fairly short samples). Doesn't seem like its any kind of special trick, just proper use of the SP1 or maybe even the right deck cue-points. :)

i do not remember the name right now.. >< damn.. but serato have this option like "freeze mode"... check for "freeze mode" traktor or serato on youtube and youll understand what trayzee does...

why did you choose 2 neons as opposed to the pioneer sp1 with 16 pads on a single controller?? is there a benefit of one over the other??

me as a dj who does color code my cue points. I find the neon reloop is more reliable than the ddj sp1. it gives more flexibility for a person who uses a controller with a DVS system eg. ddj sx2 with 2 cdj 1000 mk2 . where you can used two neon reloops with the cdjs as the 3rd and 4th decks. plus you can position your neon reloop over each cdj which the sp1 cannot do
