I absolutely love how stripped down this felt compared to the usual Kpop production where sometimes, there's just a lot going on. I really felt like this was a solid insight into who they trained to be and where they want to go. So many people thought it was flat, and that's ok, we don't all have to like everything. I felt, however, that you don't need a lot of fanfare when the team you got kills it. Do you know what I'm saying? They worked what they got and it's a LOT of talent. Excited for them!

Technically, XG isn't a KPop group. There was a rumor that the group was a YG group. But YG cleared the air by saying XG wasn't their artists. They collaborated with XG's label (AVEX) to train the girls at their academy (YGX). Also, I think XG is going for a global appeal and not trying to be idols.

Audacity is the perfect word. I loved everything about this debut. Some people think the best was too simple and uninventive: I think it did a great job of getting out of the girls’ way and letting them do their thing. The vocals, the bars, the choreo, the attitude. They killed it.

XG is a group that was created through systematic hard work through global projects for over 5 years. The group consists of Japanese members who practiced in Korea with the K-pop system and set global goals with English songs. XG Executive Producer Jakops (Junho Park) debuted as a singer in Korea and has been engaged in Kpop as a producer and composer for over 13 years. His father is Korean, his mother is Japanese, he is of Japanese nationality and was born in the United States. XG's song composition and group concept were all produced by him. The songs on 'Tippy Toess' are well thought out, addictive and stylish. It looks like an evolved version of Kpop. Making a song in English is an important point. In that sense, XG group will be a group that can receive enough stimulation for K-pop.

April 22, 2022, producer JAKOPS said on Instagram Live, "I've been working on the XG project for 4years and my base was mostly in Japan" They are under AVEX. they were training in Japan.‬  (They were training at「AVEX ARTIST ACADEMY HEAD OFFICE STUDIO」in JAPAN ＊XG video: (The Beginning ,The Journey) YGX appears momentarily, but most of it is a training scene at 「AVEX ARTIST ACADEMY HEAD OFFICE STUDIO」) The MV producer and choreographer are Korean and were shot in South Korea. The first video was uploaded in February 2022. Given that, they may have been in South Korea for preparation in 2021. I think Simon's four years mean either the four years from 2017 to 2021. The MV dance performance uses YGX, but YGX is a dance studio, so anyone can use.

So basically XG is a global group - all Japanese members formed in collaboration of YGE and Avex (the biggest music label in Japan). They have basically no connection with YG other than the fact YGX trained them (the majority, if not all of them can speak Korean). They will promote in both Japan and Korea, but the goal is to be global. They were created by 2nd generation boyband DMTN’s member Simon. He has been preparing for this debut since 2017 and they will be active for 10 years! Kep1er’s Hikaru is apart of this project and will be added to the group after her contract ends with Kep1er (July, 2024). More information about the confirmed members will be released soon!

Honestly, before kpop I was a rock music fan and I still am. And 2ne1 was my ult group back then but when they disbanded I left kpop as well (coz 3rd and 4th gen is just not my cup of tea. I felt like those generations is trying too hard to be girlcrush but they just look cute) but now, I found another gg that I feel like I could stan. But these girls are amazing. I haven't seen a group like them in such a long time. Finally, they're like a breathe of fresh air. They incorporated floor choreo, added a Michael Jackson move and ngl but the choreo is not something you see on typical groups right now but they killed it. The swag, the charisma everything seems perfectly fit for them. And let me add, they're dancing in pants but they exude sexy too. Nobody can't deny but they've given justice to the girlcrush vibe with this one.

I looove the song! They're a 7 member Japanese girl group(XGALX is a sub-label under Avex, a big Japanese label) with ambitions on being global and they're on the right track. Hikaru from Kep1er trained with these girls and supposedly will join them once Kep1er disbands in 2024. Hope you guys watch the dance practice, it's fire.

XG is from Avex (Japanese big record company) they were first rumoured to be a group handled by YG and AVEX, because their pre debut materials involved them in the facilities of YG Entertainment. Plus one of their member was suspected to be the future member of YG New Girl Group but debuted with XG instead. YG personally put the rumors down and said they have nothing to do with the girls. The reason why the girls can use YG's facilities ? Because YG and Avex has close knit relationship, and build a subsidiary record label between those two in Japan called YGEX (YG and Avex) which allows YG artist to put out their albums and materials under YGEX company in Japan.
