Yeah, BTS is known for their cinematic videos, complex choreography and amazing lyrics. They change their appearance/style with every MV and they move between different genres of music constantly. Originally, they were pure hip hop, so Mic Drop takes them back to their roots, but they also have made pop, rock, soul, reggae tracks as well.

👀 if you're into film, you definitely gotta check out more BTS MVs. the editing is AMAZING, but also just about every music video is like its own short film - the storytelling is spectacular. (they also have a series of actual short films.) there is a fictional universe/storyline that runs throughout most of their MVs. their music is great, and they truly approach every aspect (music, choreography, performance, music videos) as art.

Im glad u noticed their chemistry. There are many idol groups who only work with eachother yet don't actually get along or have that bond. BTS have a great bond and trust, like they love each other like family so when they dance and perform u can feel the good vibes cuz it's all amplified too plus the energy they give oml. The can bicker and argue yet the CEO leaves them to work it out amongst themselves, and Rm who is the leader is the mediator. BTS really grew both in fame and personally, yet even if the fame they are still really humble and work SUPER HARD. Thanks for the reaction . U should react to them performing this but live. My favourite part is Jungkook at 3:51, idk if you noticed but you can't see the camera in the mirror behind him, they actually recorded his choreo in that scene twice, from the front and the back, so that the mirror was clear of camera's in the reflection. It just looks so clean to me. And not many people notice it when they first watch the MV. It's my favourite part aesthetic wise, because it's a subtle effect unless you see it right away.

I loved this song so much! It was the first BTS song I heard and I have been hooked ever since. ARMY all the way! Can’t say enough about this song with its lyrics, composition, MV effects, and symbolic meaning behind the lyrics. I heard one commentary say that the hooded figures with all the mics in their faces were all their haters and the media talking them down and saying that they’d never make it. BTS responds by saying you thought I was going to fail but I’m fine, sorry Billboard, sorry worldwide, if you’re jealous sue me. FYI- BTS got the idea for Mic Drop from a watching a video on former President Obama (They also study many MV's of Rappers/Hip Hop artists, where they get their swag, dance moves... just adding to it.)
