Taemin "Want The 2nd Mini Album" Review *Honest Review*

Taemin got into music in the 6th grade after seeing music videos from Michael Jackson. He tried out for the SM Open Weekend Audition and was picked up immediately. He debuted as a member of Shinee( Shiny) at 14. He has got his hands into acting, doing voice overs, and reality shows among other things. He went solo in 2014. Want is the 2nd Korean EP from Teamin. Here is our honest opinion of Want by Taemin.

@@lilyxm6315 Aren't they though?? I was just listening to the She is album and like, i'm always so blown away by his artistry and the way he composes his songs and utilizes his voice. He is so amazing.

@@leela4326 There are people who are skilled, there are people who are talented and then there the select few that would be the prodigal talents. And Jonghyun falls under the prodigal talent category. His sense of musicality, his poetic writing style, his soulful voice, even the way he manipulates his voice to interpret correctly even the slightest nuances of emotion in his songs... One of a kind, really.

Before folks start coming at Dame Diddy....I had told him a few weeks ago that Key was enlisting on March 4th so he got that confused with Taemin. Luckily we still have Taemin for awhile so he may come out with another album before he goes 😊 And I wouldn't worry about Taemin quitting music when he comes back...most artists (if they're successful & still relevant) continue music when they get back.

@@Pos1t1veThinking -- Yeah, I agree. People keep assuming he'll wait til the last possible moment that he HAS to go but I don't think he'll do that. In the articles I read he just says how he'll spend this year focusing on his solo stuff & doesn't say anything beyond that. So that's why I believe he'll enlist at the end of the year or early next year. They seem really determined to show that SHINee will carry on so I'd think they don't want to wait too long before the comeback. The other theory is he won't go til two years but have a SHINee comeback once the others get out but before he goes. I think that would be cutting it too close as they'll most likely want to tour after their next comeback as well.

I couldn't agree with you more - the whole album is sensational, there isn't a single song that I like less and listening to Taemin without watching him dance makes you realise how great and soulful vocalist he really is (something, which maybe not always stands out in a first place while he's dancing - because his dancing is just so insanely great). But just to let you know - Taemin is not going to the military any time soon. He's actually the only member of SHINee who's gonna stay in the industry for at least 2 more years. It's because he's the youngest and doesn't have to enlist now. He probably could, but seeing how busy he is and how amazingly is his solo career developing, I'm absolutely sure he doesn't think of enlisting in the near future. And I'm not 100% sure, but I already heard that Monologue has strong Junghyun references - I think he spoke about in in a recent interview. Anyway thank you so much for your reaction and appreciation of Taemin's artistry. Being a musician myself I really appreciate your insightful comments and how open-minded you are. Now I'm waiting for your Want MV reaction :) Greetings from Poland!

Well, I hope he doesn't wait a full two years! I really want SHINee to be able to perform as a group again soon. ::sobs:: I'm really hoping that he enlists at the end of this year or early next year. Which would still give him more time for solo stuff.

StreetNoise Well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see what decision he’ll make. I love SHINee and would love to see them back soon, but if I’m to be honest I would love to see Taemin developing his global career even more. I’m really hoping he’s gonna have a world tour soon and I’m sure gonna be the first one to buy a ticket for his concert if he comes to Europe! I’ve seen him in Berlin last September and he was spectacular! He surely left me wanting more and thirsting for more! 😂 I can not even imagine what it would be like to see his whole concert, I would probably die of hyperventilation 🤣

Taemin is still a member of Shinee though, he does solo as Jonghyun did and Key and Onew, and just as Minho does dramas and movies as their side thing, I love him, he is our golden child the dual baby and one talented guy who grew up before our eyes literally and musically ... Please listen to Jonghyun's album Poet or his song She is, he was amazing, he wrote and produced his entire albums or if you want some more smooth and great songs from Shinee check their SWCV - Chocolate, SHINee SWC III - Symptoms samples of their great talent... Perfection at its best...

He literally slayed me on the spot 👻🥰🥰🥰🥰 im 100% okay with it....he is pure art, he has the silence & extreme pure attractivenes! During his off the chain live showcase he said he was frightened at first by the snakes b/c he asked if they bite often? but then he said he gotten close to them and it was actually fun! He was on Weekly Idol yesterday along with NCT Jeno & Jisung, Kim Donghan, and other artist (I don’t remember his name since it was in korean)! He explained during his showcase that this new album “Taemin”......in my opinion i believe he’s talking about the “Temptation of Wanting More”, that’s what i get from reading the lyrics! I really love the album altogether especially the first three songs. i couldn’t really keep up with what they were saying during his vlive showcase b/c there wasn’t enough eng subs which kind of sucked! I think he also mentioned and explained that it’s kind of combination of “Move” & “Danger” put together! In a recent interview he opens up about the changes after jonghyun’s death.

Taemin once said the outro could be an intro. Intro for his concert? He is gonna have his 2nd concerts. I hope he will have a world tour, but the chances are small because it's SM. Asia Tour is definitely going to happen.
