Just to let you know: BAS (the tall one) is a musician that plays the piano, sax, trumpet, and several other instruments. He stated that he used to play jazz piano aboard a cruise ship, so you KNOW he has been around. That is why he is so smooth. Pete on the other hand, got into rap when his granddaughter would get into his car and turn on drill rap. He would turn it off and she would turn it back on. Over time, he started to listen to it on his own. He said that he could really get into what they were saying. He credits his South London "Cockney" style of speaking with helping him with his fast-talking flow. Remember, rap as we know it started in the early 1970s. Both of these cats were in their TWENTIES then.

These 2 are legit. They sing about their past. Pete is a well respected gang member from south London, who used to run with the notorious Kray twins back in the day. Bas and his family ran an illegal bare knuckle boxing club in their back garden and made a lot of money before it was shut down for being a cannabis farm and money laundering. Pete had a case back 1998 for a murder back in the 60s of a rival gang member, but he managed to win the case. These 2 were legit gangsters back in the day. They just learned today's lingo to tell their story. These 2 are the ones that managed to make it in a game where people don't grow old.

They released their first single in 2017 with "Shut Ya Mouth". They recorded the song after Pete discovered his enjoyment for hip hop when his granddaughter was playing rap music on his car radio. He told Bas about it, and they decided that it would be good fun to issue it on KZbin. It was an immediate success and went viral, so they continued to create new music.

I've watched nearly every reaction to Sindhu Sesh and I just love seeing how mindblown people get whenever they open their mouths. I always feel this air of 'damn, these guys are probably better than I can even deliver' I love how early in this video, they assumed Bas was a hype man, then he comes in with the smoothest and most well timed flow you could ever expect from anyone of that age. Worth noting Basil was a piano teacher so he understands music better than most rappers, and has had help from rappers and his family to understand the slang, but their bars are written by themselves.
