I was lucky enough to get my hands on Titan Tidal Wave about a week ago, and I really rather love him! He's got great size and weight, and feel to him. And I thought that having to pull him apart to change modes would be too annoying.... but it turns out to be more of a Feature than a Bug. Each piece is a little joy unto itself. I want to strap those parts to me, much like the smaller parts are attached to my Armada Megatron right now. I hope you pick him up, I'd love to see your review on him. 😁

My favourite Legends/Core Class Transformer is Thrilling 30 Swerve/Flanker. I think he, above all my other TFs I have, has spent the most time getting manhandled in my sausage fingers. I even bought the MakeToys MFB (My First Blaster) accessory for him.

I can’t stop messing with core Swoop. Say what you will about the core Dinobots but that is a near perfect figure at that size. I’ve still got my original beast wars figures so core rattrap and snarl (Tasmanian kid) were redundant for me. The originals are still killing it with possibility and the core offerings were just not enough of an improvement for me to bite.

I haven't core class Megatron, but the others you mentioned are very top notch! Probably expect to see them all combined with other Transformers, which I guess is better than not getting them, but it varies. (Like I still want Core Class Rumble, but unsure if I want to get the same Soundwave toy I have with a slightly different gold colour for the one toy.) Titan Classes I feel I've reached the point where having two is more than enough (Omega Supreme and Ark), that any more, I wouldn't know where to put them. Even if a lot of them are pretty good. The Marvel Transformers toys has got me thinking about Death's Head and how we might get that eventual character. Do we get him as a partial retool in this comics line? A dedicated mold for a Marvel x Transformers collab? Or just a regular Marvel Legends figure with no transformation? They could do one or two of them, and I'd be pretty intrigued by the idea of it. All in all, best of luck with the job stuff.

Think Hasbro is waiting to see how Transformers One is received for next show. I think the fandom doesn't realize that most people outside the fandom have a hard time relating to Transformers as characters. If One pulls off an all-ages Transformers movie with no humans I think it will open the way for adult Transformers media that isn't just grimdark. I could see Hasbro wanting to get a more adult Transformers show to have legs in the streaming era now that the landscape is full of comic adaptation TV shows, maybe have an adult show that's sort of like IDW and run a kids show that's wackier in tone at the same time.

Kids are actually the reason why Core class is going away: the class is designed for impulse buy to children or families that don't want to spend much on a gift to their kids, but the problem is that they are not selling very well, it's been like that since at least 2015 when they were legends class, they downscaled it, they changed format, with small toys, and it worked even worse, with huge shelfwarmers with the titan masters and then the new micro masters, and they all failed terribly, and specifically, the micromasters sold badly even among collectors and fans, to which those homages were for. Considering that fans are willing to spend way more, it's normal that core will disappear. I just hope they will convert into 2 packs with 2 Core classes at Deluxe price point, that's a way we all would be happy, but sadly I think they will just be add-on to deluxes or voyager to change the price points to higher prices, or to integrate when the price point isn't filled up completely

Oh, and Dracodon! The damage that the figure did ALONE was incredible. Never seen such a yucky shelfwarmer since a while now, in my nation it blocked completely many many stores from buying more TF stock, together with other huge shelfwarmer like the fembots (n-th copy of arcee and elita toy released in a short amount of time)
