Naughty By Nature rapper Treach spoke openly about his friendship with 2Pac during an exclusive interview with VladTV, where he revealed that the two of them met by being roadies for Queen Latifah and Digital Underground. It was at this time that Treach and 2Pac made many connections on the road that would later help them both in their careers.
During the conversation, Treach spoke about 2Pac ramping up his studio recording after getting shot at Quad Studios in New York. He then addressed claims that Biggie had something to do with the situation, and you can hear Treach's response above.

Songs were different and also, which tends to be completely forgotten, rappers were actually putting effort into their flows. They used to tailor it to the beat, vary their flows, pause, restart, accentuate words, lots of internal rhymes designed around the beat, etc. etc. There was a real art to it. Today, even the ones that are not mumbling, are just reciting their verses, same intonation, line after line, beat after beat. And that includes the "critically acclaimed" ones. Compare Kendrick's flows with 2Pac's side by side and if you understand what I am talking about, you will see the difference immediately.

They were not kool before Pac died.. In 1 of 2Pac's interviews he said he felt that niggas was making him to be like a new Slick Rick (referring to when Slick Rick got locked up).. Also that homies that used to hang around him was hanging with Big & saying that they wasn't even checking up on him when he was in jail.. He also named Treach in This interview.. This excerpt can be heard on the bootleg version of the "Pac's Life" song..

P.Diddy,TuPac,NByN, Biggie,Mary J.,Cube,EazyE,Too short,Dre, Digital Underground, Heavy D. We seen all their starts and beginnings. The way Treach speaks today is the words of true street soldier/ OG. He has grown up and that's what we did not get to see with Pac and Big. This dude could have threw another log into that Pac and Big fire that's been cold for years. Instead he took the route of a true man and said " Nah" it wasn't like that. Always respected Treach and I thank God he was allowed to live to see maturity.

A lot of what Treach was saying in this video was on point. But the end says it all. Watch who you have in your circle. The people you keep around you could be your down fall. What I took from what was said in this interview was just that. And taking a lives lesson from 2pac`s is to know you can`t trust your own people either cause they too can turn on you in a New York minute. 2pac & Biggie`s life is a lesson we should all learn from, by watching who you let in your circle.

Even in the event that Big did know, what could he say? Jimmy Henchman wasnt some regular street dude. He was pretty much a crime boss. Big says something and he got problems bigger than dealing with Pac. Shit NY was home to Big. He had nowhere to hide. Both Tyson and Big warned Pac of Jack and Henchmen. By the time it got to the point where they had to teach Pac a lesson, it was beyond Big even being able to step in and squash anything. Big didnt want no parts of the beef with Pac either. Dude was just tryna make money and got dragged into unnecessary drama that ended up getting him killed.

Pierre Avent Man Pac and Big were cool but aint like they were lifelong friends. You really gonna risk your life and family well being for a guy youve known for less than a year? Like is said, these wasnt blood/crip/regular street dudes. You see what happened to Lloyd Banks homie when he slapped Henchmans son....
@blakswizzy
@blakswizzy 7 жыл бұрын
Pierre Avent Big was being the homie by warning him ahead of time. Difference between Pac and Big is that Big was actually in the streets and understood the code. Pac, while being a real dude, didnt live in the streets although he hung around killaz and whatnot. Big tells Pac and not only does he risk his life, he risk the lives of everyone he loves. Big aint have the muscle, power, nor money to go at Henchman. His only muscle was D.Roc. Im not even sure DRoc wasnt locked up at the time.

No Puff is the reason BIG is dead. Puff put a hit on Pac and Suge with the south side crips. When Keefe D and Orlando murdered Pac in Vegas Keefe D went to Puff at the party in LA for their bread. Keefe D never said what Puff said but we can assume Puff basically told him to fick off. Because we all know Puff shiesty af. After that someone called and had the fire marshall shut the party down (purposely) and Big got murdered.. But little did Keffe D know,Puff didn't give af because Big was worth more to Puff dead.... Puff is the only reason both Pac AND Big are dead...
