I just watched the previous episode about the coolant leak , stop leak additive is not the way to fix the problem , you need to get pressure tested for entire coolant system to find the leak.please do not try to fix something with few dollars solutions cause it s gonna cost you more in long run..I suggest you make an appointment with some certified shop or dealer in Ankara and have it checked out before leaving turkey..have a safe trip

I doubt there'll be a next since my body can't tolerate lactose very well. But it was a nice memory. Especially the part when I realized I'm trying to cool down ice cream 🤣 we laughed at least for 15 minutes after that

The salt lakes: I don’t get it! Where does the salt come from? Sea water? Surely not in the middle of the country. You said the lake is fed by two rivers that dry up in the heat there, so the waters must come from the mountains some distance away? But those waters would be fresh water, wouldn’t they? So how come there’s salt at the lakes? By magic? How amazing is that!! Loving your adventures!

Wow !! this is the best question ever !! we googled it (obviously - this is what our grown up kids tell us to do all the time LOL) and we found that Lake Tuz is fed by salt water springs !! Voila !! Marianne x

Wow, what a great video from our FRIENDS IN TURKEY (AKA AMBASSADORS TO TURKEY)😍😍 Guys the salt is a mineral obviously, and has a CUBICAL crystal form when it forms then it breaks and can't see a perfect cubical shape but if you careful enough You WILL FIND a good example of it. I have been there only one time, Tuz golu that is. I think you guys have done more than our MINISTRY OF TOURISM ( !) when it comes to introducing our country to the world!👍👍 You should be recognized by our government as " HONORARY CITIZENS AND AMBASSADORS" I hope someone in the government will contact you and appreciate your work in Turkey! I just can't believe it. I've been on holiday in my home town Burhaniye, on the Aegeon coast for a while and now you've visited Ankara, the city where I live. I would've met with you and showed you around and take you delightfully to places, as an adventure rider, in and around Ankara, where I don't think even locals would've been to. What are you going to do when you move back to England? You will never find this kind of nutritious food in England. When I was in England for a few months, everything was OK except food. If you get used to Turkish food (ıt seems you already had) we're going to have some trouble.

Why do you drive a van with steering wheel on the right had side, if you want to travel the world? I believe you can have it interchanged in Bursa.

In the UK the steering wheel is on the wrong side - we are used to driving like this and so it's no problem and no need to change it

I know, for some it takes a bit getting used to and for others it's almost impossible. You could have a steering wheel, a set of controls and pedals installed on Chris's side whilst you're still in Turkey so that the rest of your journey would be safer to drive??? The extra set could be a foldable... I guess it's getting more and more sci-fi. :)

Hi - we are doing good - We have 2 missions as Tread the Globe - the first is to drive our campervan all the way around the world and the second it to attempt to visit every country. We are very keen to continue our around the world adventure and were disappointed we couldn't continue this year due to covid but we are lucky to still be travelling and seeing new places. The turtle centre would not have been built if we had gone to Russia as planned. We are planning to backpack from November to January somewhere in the world - not sure yet - then fly back to continue our drive in February when the weather window starts opening again Hope that answers your question
