Another nice vlog! BTW, Istanbul has 3 airports, namely Atatürk Airport; the new Istanbul Airport, which is one of the biggest in the world; as well as Sabiha Gökçen Airport located on the Asian side of the city. As you can guess easily, you landed and took off from Sabiha Gökçe AirPort.

Safe & Happy travels in Georgia. I wasn't aware you could drive from the Asian side to the European side in Istanbul (Tunnel)? I Always thought it was a ferry!!☘🥰
@onentogar95993 жыл бұрын
There are two sub-sea tunnels, one for the cars, the other one is reserved for rail-/subway (=Marmaray). And, of course, there are three bridges connecting Europe and Asia for motor vehicles and pedestrians.

So would Turkey be the next jump after Morocco ?!
@onentogar95993 жыл бұрын
@@ahmedalshalchi I’m not sure what you might possibly mean by that?

@@onentogar9599 Unfortunately the bridges are not open to pedestrians. Apparently there were far too many suicides when the Bosphorus Bridge was open to pedestrians.
@onentogar95993 жыл бұрын
@@DikWhite From today’s point of view you are right. I was referring to the original intended purpose as they were built. In fact, in the past the first bridge used to be a part of the Istanbul marathon’s route. According to that logic a large car crash would cause the closure of the subsea tunnel for the vehicle traffic..
