No, he isn't. Kim Bangjeong is just a silly nickname translated from Kanemoto Yoshinori. No Koreans have name "Bangjeong", cuz it's weird. And on Treasure map, Yoshi said that his mom is currently learning Korean, so she will understand Treasure without subtitles. In YG Treasure Box, Byounggon taught Yoshi some Korean language pronunciation lyrics. So yeah, Yoshi doen't have Korean blood.

If he has Korean blood, then why didn't Yoshi mention it himself on Idol League, the one where Dara is the MC? He only said it's translated from Kanemoto Yoshinori, but he didn't mention he has Korean blood. Why didn't he ever mention it like Aespa's Giselle who's half Korean? Giselle confirmed it on a radio interview, but Yoshi never confirmed it even after months of debut, even tho Treasure debuted before Aespa. Zainichi Koreans in Japan can speak Korean language fluently, so if Yoshi's mom can't even speak Korean at all (she only started learning it after Yoshi debuted to understand Treasure without subtitles), then his family is full-blooded Japanese. This is why I told you not to believe rumors and spread it if it's not officially confirmed yet. If we make speculations without official confirmation, it's disrespectful to Yoshi and his family, it might even offended him.

You also haven't answered my question on why Kprofiles didn't write that Yoshi is Zainichi Korean-Japanese on his profile. And, Kprofiles is the most trusted Kpop profile site, besides their own company official website ofc. Even SKZ Bangchan said that Kprofiles is legit and trusted. Your answer isn't strong enough to proof the claims. Just admit that your claim hasn't been proofed and hasn't been officially confirmed by YG ent and Yoshi himself yet, and by the evidence that we have so far, it's very unlikely. Seriously, if Yoshi has confirmed it then I have no problem at all, but he hasn't. So please, for Yoshi and his family's sake, with all due respect, don't make baseless assumptions and spread false unconfirmed rumors.

The fact that they knew Haruto was Japanese at first glance when everyone else thought he had the looks that Koreans found attractive & thought that Yoshi was Korean when he’s often associated to being anime-like is so funny to me.

For me, I knew Haruto is a Japanese set aside his name because of his eye shape. And the first time I saw Treasure members I can easily distinguish the other 3 Japanese members from their faces without searching Treasure's profile in google. There's a big difference in their visuals and the way they dress up. Its more difficult to distinguish korean and chinese rather than Japanese and korean. That's only my opinion 😊.

Also the one with hair like ryuhei is haruto... the green hair one is yoshinori and the one with dreadlocks which aren't actually dreadlocks is the leader of the group hyunsuk he was Born in 1999 hes the oldest in the group. TREASURE fandom name : TEUME TREASURE is a boy group under YG Entertainment. The boy group was formed through YG TREASURE BOX. They debuted in 2020 with 'BOY' M/V.
