Treasure Hunt (December 9, 1981)

A repeat broadcast from the 1981-82 run of the game show. This rebroadcast was seen in early 1984 via WSVN in Miami, Florida. Commercials were included.
The first version of the series had aired from 1956-59, first on ABC, then NBC. The second run was seen in syndication from 1973-77 (as "The New Treasure Hunt"). It was followed by the 1981-82 version. Each incarnation had slightly different rules to gameplay, but was essentially the same format.
Reboots were attempted in 2012 and 2015, but neither resulted in a full series pickup.

Did Emile ever happen to put the check in the same box twice? I don't think he did. Never mind, I can tell he did. On this show it was in box 10 and I remember a recent show where it was also in 10 and the contestant picked it but kept the money.

Most of the skits in this era featured Mike and Ellen Metzger and Steve Friedman as the performers. And Jan Speck, boy she should have slapped Geoff silly for asking if the was wearing underwear...
