I totally love that you restored that knife. I am so 100% proud of you. That might have been carried around by Davy Crockett and he lost it and you found it and restored it. Fantastic. Next time you are sanding or grinding, you might want to put The knife on a spare piece of wood instead of the floor just to protect the floor from your sanding equipment. But I love, love what you did for that wonderful antique. That was So smart also to check the internet. Keep up the good work.

a little tip submerge the knife in white vineger over night it will desolve all the rust. Then hit it with some soap and water and a buffing wheel and presto new knife.
