What an awesome hunt and permission. You guys killed it. I don't know why but the 64's and 65's Indians that I've found seem to come out of the ground looking beautiful. Better than the later years. Maybe the metal composition was a little different transitioning from the fatties. Who knows? Keep the great videos coming. 💯👍

The trime is a slight bit smaller. Yes they are very hard to find. Make sure you watch the next few videos for some very old silver and amazing relics

Hey Tim, that was only my 2nd time ever using the Minelab Manticore, so I was just using All-Terrain General Mode. If you are using the Nox, I recommend Field 2. I have discovered that Field 2 finds coins on edge.

Hi Mark, it depends on your budget. Are you planning on detecting just your yard? We use Deus 2, and Manticore. They are over $1000. Also, the Nokta Legend, which is $600. We have been dealing with Mike from Westshore hobbies in Pennsylvania. He would be able to answer all your questions on choosing the right detector and give you a great deal. We are jealous. We don't have houses that old in Western PA.

It always gets me when these treasure Hunters use their thumbs to scrape dirt off of a coin. Yes they have a small squirt bottle, but mostly they're scraping. As a coin collector I can tell you this. If that coin is rare enough? You could be losing thousands. Maybe tens of thousands of dollars just by dropping it down a couple grades. Coins should always be handled like a freshly painted 57 Chevy. You wouldn't scrape dirt off of that would you?

Gotta be honest. That's NOT how largies look when they come out of an old farm. I've pulled hundreds of largies and it looks a lot like those were semi cleaned and replanted. How many seated and cap busts this hunt. I doubt many of these finds. I've had incredible days but this could only happen around 1965 before much detecting was done. Just calling it the way it looks.

I've gotta be honest too, have you ever watched Quarter Hoarder or the Hoover Boys. We've hunted with them before, and they find Large cents like that all the time. It depends on if the farm you hunt is fertilized or not. We study old maps and do alot of research to find spots like this. There was also a civil war regiment training camp in the area. That coin from across the pond is.. George the IV..the naughty King.. His Father was ..George III.. The mad King. After George IV passed... Queen Victoria sat on the throne till 1901. Her son,..Edward ..Dirty Berty ... was King till 1911. . Next...George V , Then George VI whose daughter is Queen Elizabeth After the death of her father ,..Queen Elizabeth..who reigned from 1952 to last year..2023.
