Great video. I'm still adamant on Captain Toad not jumping, so i think they should make it so a platform below him lifts immediately and then disappears when you press jump. It would still allow him to have an air game and be able to recover, while still remaining faithful to his appearences, and also referencing the player interactions with the enviroment in 3D World and Treasure Tracker, kind of like how Duck Hunt's Smash attacks and specials use the meta aspect of imagining that the player is shooting the screen with the Zapper.

Or Toad could throw objects out of his pack throughout the match to slowly make him lighter and be able to jump higher.

Maybe it could be the platforms with the propellers where you had to blow on the GamePad screen that lift him up.

Captain Toad could throw items out of his backpack to be able to get lighter and lighter until he can jump as high as he can. He could take his pack, swing it around, and hit an enemy as an attack. He could throw turnips as an attack as well. He could also hit someone with a pickaxe. A recovery move could be him using his bag as a catapult to launch himself back up. A emote could be him pulling out a diamond and showing it off. Another emote could be him falling on his back. The last emote could be him just pointing with a surprised look on his face. Obviously not all of his moves were talked about in the comment but that’s just what I thought up.

Nintendo handled some DLC characters wrong, they decided to make them op on launch so people would play them, except for piranha and banjo, when they get put in place by balances they aren't played
