Actually the captioned is all wrong, TSJ did not go there because he failed to cancel the marriage agreement as stated in the caption, but he went there to tell her that he had to take up the responsibility as Lead of the Clan, something he said he would not do.

jing was so badly tortured and abused for years by his brother and then left for dead .. he has lost his spirit and pretty much all his cultivation.. it’s like xin yue said he was like a fine jade he was a good strong man and very much good at everything..and there wasn’t another man that could take jing on not even her brother .. jing disappeared presumed dead .. comes back a totally different man with a body full of scars and a badly damaged leg …so yes jing is weak and pitiful .. but a kind and gentle sole ..
