Because of my lifelong love affair with scarves, my mother taught me to tie a bow many years ago. But, still, it's a really great part of the video. I absolutely love the vibrant colors. Abstract art is my favorite because anybody can do it! I'm wondering....instead of envelopes, I could make a flip-down for a JJ. 🤔 Interesting. Natasha, thank you so very much for all your fantastic tutorials. Your's is, by far, my favorite channel. I like your soft-spoken way of explaining everything in an understanding way. I'm so thankful that you keep it classy and don't use foul language. I started working on my granddaughter's JJ back in February. If I had known about your channel back then, I would've been finished weeks ago! I literally finished it yesterday. You take everyday items and make them beautiful. Plus, it's affordable for those of us working with limited income. I would love to go shopping for all kinds of washi tape, ephemera and equipment, but I have to make do with what's available. I was actually sent here by the lady who I named these bows after. I call them the MARCI BOW. Marci reminded me how to tie the bow, and I tend to name things after people, so every time I tie it on my channel, I say it's the "Marci Bow"! Marci is from Tennessee and I am in the UK. Great to share. I adore these little packages. I am always making pretty papers on my channel with Watercolours and doodles. What a gorgeous project ❤❤❤😊😊😊

Great ideas for gelli papers! They are so fun To make but hard to find uses for them. I make ATCs backgrounds with them and then embellish them with buttons. But making buttons out of the papers is perfect!

A friend showed me how to make a happy knot, her name for perfect bow. I make a knot and make my bow, and oops it’s going up and down. So I undo bow and then wrap my ribbon the opposite direction than I did before and it’s always correct. So if I wrap ribbon around the back of the first loop and that doesn’t come out right then I wrap my ribbon around the front of loop and it’s perfect. I appreciate your example. I have found that I can make a perfect happy bow in any direction that I’m needing, even on a dress behind my back. Thank you, I’m addicted watching your shows. You are very inspiring! 😊

Never ever thought to use tweezers to put ribbons in holes. How ingenious. Funny how we don’t always think to use tools for other purposes. Thanks for the bow tying tip. Again ingenious. My granddaughter spilled all her paints and smeared them on her cardstock that I had given her. Initially I was upset that she had done it and a salvaged what I could of the paint, then let it paint dry for easy clean up. The paper actually turned out to be the perfect colors for butterflies, dragonflies and other die cuts. I used as much of the paper that I could. I loved it.

Bow Tying! Yayyyyy!!! Thank you. Love the envelope ideas. I do dog drawing commissions and like to include something creative as a little extra in the packaging. These will be ideal to hold my business card and can be re-used by the customer. I think creative ways to use paper craft for packaging is often overlooked. But I knew this was something you would provide inspiration for. Any other packaging ideas would be great... oh, and loving this Quick Inspiration Series.

Take a short piece of wire & fold in half. Insert the closed end through the hole, forming a loop. Insert ribbons through the loop & pull through. Sorta like a needle threader. I used this technique to tie baloons, lots of baloons for a school dance.
